Interaction with Guests
I am happy to give neighborhood advice by text should anyone need assistance.
There are many locally owned restaurants within walking distance. There are also numerous cafes and bars closely. We love them all!
We are walking distance to all the town has to offer. The driveway is small and only accommodates two cars. Additional on street parking is plentiful, but is metered and costs .50 per hour until five o'clock each day except Sunday. There is nearby free parking if you don't mind walking a block or so.
Other Things to Note
We have chickens in the back yard in a fenced run/coop. For longer stays I have someone come and tend to them. Enjoy sitting and watching them; they are quite entertaining. Please feel free to feed the fish in the backyard pond.
No smoking in the house please. Smoking in the backyard and on the front porch are fine. I am open minded about pets joining you, I just want to know that they won't do any damage. Please inform me of any parties or additional guests you plan to host. Other than (email hidden) rules, have fun!
We had a great time here. The house is charming and very eclectic and odd. The chickens and ducks are a lot of fun to feed water. Great place for a get together.
Siri was great, accessible, dependable and welcoming. The house is awesome. Things couldn't have been better. It was the perfect creative home to launch our revolution out of!!
Comfortable, eclectic house - lovely space inside & out- peaceful, intriguing... fabulous books and art; just around the corner from shops & restaurants ... Siri is the perfect hostess - warm, accessible, practical... we loved our stay (celebrating our son's graduation from Hampshire College)... would definitely book again if journeying in the area...
Our stay at Siri's was a delight. What a cute and quirky house right in downtown Greenfield. Vincent the gerbil was a fun surprise and a gentleman to share a room with :). Everything was as described, and Siri was responsive and helpful whenever we had questions arise. I'd highly recommend a visit, and look forward to our next.
Siri's house is like an offbeat museum- I loved spending time w my family and friends at her home. Also-the town is really nice. Just a short walk to hip restaurants and stores. Oh- and we had to change our vacay by one day and Siri was very accommodating.
A great home in a great town with a great host. This was our first AirBnB experience and I can only hope future AirBnB experiences will be just like this one. The home is very large and spacious and provides a great relaxed atmosphere for hanging out, additionally, it is walking distance to downtown Greenfield and all it has to offer (the People's Pint, Saturday morning farmer's market, breakfast places). Bonus aspects of Siri's home: 1: Siri, a friendly and responsive host, 2: fenced in backyard with little koi pond, 3:front porch sitting on a quiet side street, 4) large, expansive living room space with no distracting TVs, and 5) very comfortable beds!
Our family with 6 adults and four young children stayed at Siri’s house for the weekend so that we could attend our son’s wedding in Deerfield. The location was perfect. The house was large enough for our whole crew. Siri generously offered us the use of kitchen utensils and contents of the refrigerator and was easy to contact in case we had any questions or problems. Two things we would want future renters to know: first, the driveway has room for two cars. There is plenty of street parking with daytime meters for additional cars. Second: the décor has a wonderful collection of late 20th century objects that are fun to look at; little children must be watched at all times.
About the Host, Siri
My daughters and I love to travel. We have a great big house really close to town in a little western Massachusetts town that is empty when we do. When I am not traveling I am in the garden; my other favorite pastime.
