If you want to stay in a relaxing, spacious family home, close to CBD here’s the spot. Only 10 mins to centre of town! Ponsonby & Jervois Rd shopping meccas & motorways just up the road. The atmosphere of this home is inviting. From your first steps onto this property you get a lovely feeling of a warm family home. Fully kitted out to make your stay easy with 3 good sized bedrooms, large lounge & fantastic entertainer’s kitchen. Great outdoor deck & lawn + free off street parking for two cars.

The space
From the street you walk past the two car parking area and up the two steps to the welcoming front door.
Entering straight into the central corridor the main bedroom is to your left with a comfy king sized bed and its own ensuite and walk - in wardrobe. Second bedroom to the right with two single beds and roll away bed. (let us know if you'd like to use this bed)
The main bathroom which has a bath, shower, toilet and basin is next to the main bedroom. The clothes washer and dryer are also in this room.
A large lounge and TV area is to the right off the corridor and flows into the dining.
The corridor then leads you to the back of the house and the open plan dining kitchen room and access to the inviting deck and lawn. The fully kitted out kitchen is a cook’s dream with all the necessary appliances and large striking black granite bench top. The open plan allows everyone to be together and be part of what is going on!
There’s a second bedroom (double bed) by the kitchen which has french doors that open onto the deck.

Open the back French doors and relax on the large deck which runs the length of the dining room.
Steps take you onto the lawn and garden area. Sorry BBQ and Pizza oven are NOT available to be used.


*** Linen & Amenities – All bed and personal linen is provided (One spa towel & facecloth per person, bathmat, hand towel and tea towels).To support your first day, a small array of complimentary amenities are provided. Sorry,our properties are not serviced properties and these are not replenished during your stay.

CHECK - IN TIME IS AFTER:3 pm (15.00) on day of check in. CHECK - OUT TIME IS BY:10 am (10.00) on day of check out. Unless prearranged and paid for, charges apply if you arrive early or leave late.

• No PARTIES, GATHERING OR EVENTS of any kind (formal or informal)
• No LOUD NOISES or UNACCEPTABLE or ILLEGAL BEHAVIOUR of any kind or activities or items in or on the property. Please keep noise level down especially between 10 pm (22.00) & 9 am (09.00)
• No DAMAGE, MISUSE, BREAKAGES or REMOVAL of the property, building, or neighbours property & any contents. You are fully responsible & liable for any repairs & replacements.
• ALL VEHICLE PARKING instructions and restrictions need to be complied with. Otherwise you will be TOWED, at your expense! Do Not park across neighbours driveways
• No TAMPERING WITH ANY SAFETY & HEALTH DEVICES including smoke alarms
• Additional services or Items: Charges for hire and delivery may apply and MUST be prepaid for.(Inc additional bed linen)
• Beds: Only beds can be used for sleeping on. Linen hire is compulsory for extra beds / sofa beds & is an additional charge to the nightly room rental charged for guests staying.
• Any guests staying (or stayed) not included in booking will be asked to leave & extra guest booking charges will apply for the whole booking period.
• Cleaning: As part of your booking, a light after- stay guest clean is included. You are expected to leave the property in a clean & tidy state with all dishes cleaned & put away & beds left unmade, all table & bench tops cleared. All rubbish must be placed as instructed. If the property is not left in a tidy condition, all dishes washed clean, dried and put away & rubbish removed as requested you will be charged additional cleaning fees.
• For stays longer than 14 days, a guest paid refresh clean & linen change will be required as part of the booking.
• Amenities:This property is not serviced. Short stay is about self-catering but we do provide a small array of amenities to support you for your first day. These are not replenished during your stay.
• Luggage:Please note we DO NOT have facility to store luggage at our properties.
• Access Keys: If you lose, damage or take the access keys you will be charged the cost of replacement plus a Pillo admin fee.
• Locked out: If you lock yourself out you will be charged a Pillo call – out fee + security charges & any lock smith charges. You may be required to supply proof of identity & booking before being given access. Response time cannot be guaranteed.
• Left items:At your cost (& pre –paid) Pillo will attempt to retrieve but not guarantee,to return any left items to you. Please note any retrieved items will only be held for one month before being disposed of
• We do not accept any MAIL or PACKAGE deliveries.Any received will be returned to sender at your cost.
• Cancellations: Please refer to listing cancellation policy. Please note there are no refunds if booking is cancelled once property is occupied.
• No PETS
• Contact: We are available 24/7 for urgent & emergency requests (only) & just a phone call, text, or e-mail away during business hours (8.30 am to 7 pm). If we are called out outside of these hours, request is non urgent, or additional items are required, a callout & delivery fee may apply.

The neighbourhood is made up of 4 suburbs - Ponsonby, Herne Bay, Grey Lynn and Westmere. Ponsonby is hip and groovy, great shopping, café’s, restaurants, bars and clubs. The houses of Ponsonby and Grey Lynn are beautiful turn-of-the-century wooden villas. Herne Bay is one of Auckland’s wealthiest suburbs, with many stately homes. Herne Bay sits on the water’s edge of the beautiful Waitemata Harbour. There are numerous popular beaches for swimming in summer at high tide. Westmere was established in the era of the bungalow and is a stylish suburb with great café’s and the stunning Auckland Zoo. The neighbourhood has beautiful walks through tree lined streets and too many parks to count. A short bus ride will take you into Auckland City. Its a 30 min walk to Queen Street, Auckland’s main city thoroughfare. You can stroll along the waterfront, seeing thousands of boats at Westhaven Marina and then on to the stunning, recently developed, Wynyard Quarter with great harbour views, café’s, restaurants and bars. From downtown Auckland you can catch a ferry across the harbour to Devonport on the North Shore and also to Auckland’s jewel in the crown, the islands of the Hauraki Gulf, which can be reached by ferry as well. A visit to Waiheke Island is essential, recently voted one of the best holiday spots in the world! For the more intrepid, Rangitoto Island is an unforgettable place to visit. Also Motuihe and Mototapu Islands make fantastic day trips. You could even go whale watching or take a sail on an America’s Cup boat, bungee jump off the Auckland Harbour Bridge or take a sky jump off Auckland’s Sky Tower, falling 192 metres straight down. You won’t be short of beautiful and exciting things to do.
