Welcome boaters, fisherman, hikers, leaf-lookers and anyone looking for a safe restful night's sleep! We invite you to come enjoy our riverfront hideaway nestled in the upstairs of our rafting company on the Tuckasegee River. We are conveniently located off highway 441 and highway 74 minutes from downtown Dillsboro and Sylva. Western Carolina University, Cherokee, Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Blue Ridge Parkway are all close by.

The space
Stay and play with us! We can easily assist you with your river adventures on the Tuckasegee River, advise you on other local attractions or leave you in total peace as you take in the river view from our upstairs accommodation.

Our guest space offers hardwood floors throughout, a comfortable couch, dining table and chairs, a mini fridge, a hot water pot with a selection of "just add water" breakfast items, ROKU tv with Netflix access and several channels as well as wi-fi access. We do not offer cable tv. All lamps in the bedrooms have a USB charging port. The tiled floor bathroom is spacious with spots to hang your wet gear after a day playing outdoors. Each bedroom offers roomy closest space.

The downstairs entrance to our air bnb is a large open tiled room with a dining room table and minimally stocked kitchen. While you are certainly welcome to use this space please know this space is communal. Staff access this space occasionally on an as needed basis. Your private space is upstairs and has a separate additional key-less entry.

Outside you are welcome to enjoy our riverfront picnic tables, adirondack chairs, grill and relax in our tree-house. Please know this is a business operation and the outside space is communal as in others will possibly be outdoors in these spaces during our operating hours and possibly our family or staff after hours (we have 1 staff member that lives on the property (separate entrance) year-around. *Our primary rafting season can be bustling June through August. Non-rafting season makes for a very private getaway.

Guest access
Guest access the airbnb through a communal space. By communal we mean we (DRC staff / owners) may need to access the downstairs space on an as needed basis. This is the same space you will enter to access your private space which is the upstairs area.

Adam discovered Western North Carolina the summer of 2005 when he came South from Michigan to raft guide for Nantahala Outdoor Center on the Chattooga River. He quickly fell in love with the 4 seasons, the rich history and majestic Appalachian mountains. He also fell hard for his bride Mary, a native to Sylva, North Carolina. While a short time living in Colorado pulled at their love of skiing and snowboarding they felt the desire to return to Western NC and invest in their future. Turning to their passion, river sports, Adam and Mary were afforded the opportunity to purchase Dillsboro River Company in the spring of 2019 and see their dreams come to fruition - - hosting families for mom-approved river rafting on Mary's home river, the Tuckasegee. We are excited to extend our offerings of adventure and now also a safe place for our guests to rest at night. We look forward to hosting you!
