I am looking forward to see you in my place!
The basic rule is, please treat my flat with the same care, as if it would be yours.
Please spread good energies around, leave the sad, bad thoughts at home,
try to be as sunny here, as this flat is. And if you can´t leave your sorrow, then at least let my rooms influence you with harmonic colors, and good vibrations. I am sure, you can need it too. Just like I need it, so please don´t destroy the good karma of the flat, please don´t leave garbage back, any way if you do, because your forgot, this is not a big drama, my sweet housekeeper girl will do it for you. Please don´t leave broken fragments and dishes behind. If it happens to you, if can happen to everybody, that something falls down, please let me know, and I will take care of it. This is why we have a security deposit.
So all in all, please be caring and human, and think of the next one, who will maybe me or maybe a fellow other guest, who will use the flat after you.
Thanks you, and I wish you a pleasant stay!
Although Erzsebet was abroad during my stay, she was very good at communicating with me. The flat is nice and spacious, it has all the kitchen equipment you need and it was very clean when I arrived. Very good value for money, definitely recommended!
We had a wonderful time at Erzsébet's cozy place! and even if we didnt meet her, the communication was perfect. Moreover, she helped us with many useful tips. We loved her critical guide to the city!
Erzsébet's apartment was lovely and private. A cosy and well located space to enjoy and explore Budapest, with all the necessary amenities and a functional and adequate kitchen.
It is close the the City Park and the biggest thermal baths in the city, and only a few minutes away from a metro line and the a trolli bus line.
We would definitely recommend Erzsébet's apartment and her hospitality, she met us initially to hand over the keys, and also introduced us to her friend who owns nearby café who was ready to provide us with any help we required while in the city.
Erzsébet also provided us with very detailed and useful instructions to reach the apartment as it was our first time in Budapest, and also a wealth of tips for exploring the city itself.
Erszebet was out of town when I stayed at her place, so we didn't meet in person, but her prompt and efficient communication made it seem as if she was right next door the whole time. She gave me great recommendations and her responses to my questions were immediate and complete. The apartment was just as described and exactly what I was looking for.
It was a delight to stay at Erzsébet's apartment in Budapest. I slept well because the bed was comfortable and the apartment was dark and quiet. Though on ground level, the street is one lane and not used often. I never met Erzsébet, but she was helpful via email and her helper who runs a nearby cafe made it easy to manage the key and get questions answered.
Some things to keep in mind that I encountered:
- The apartment has all the essentials that you expect, but some of them are not where you may want them. For example, I had to get toilet paper out of the cabinet by the front door, but there was plenty.
- The internet router was unplugged - simply plug in the tiny black box and you're good to go (with the password).
- The sidewalk in front of the building had been taken up by a jackhammer so the building did not look very welcoming - the apartment, however, was wonderful. From what I could tell, most of the noisy work had been done before my stay and the work I heard was quiet and only during the work day.
- The washing machine works great (detergent provided), but you may want instructions from Erzsébet because of all the buttons.
Erzsébet is a very nice person. She gave me many information about Budapest that help me in my visit. The room is comfortable and well situated.
Erzsébet was super helpful (giving us advice/suggestions/recomendations) and made us feel really welcome in her flat! We didn't meet but we collected the keys from her friend Eva and also dropped them back when we left.
The listing description is accurate and we felt the flat had everything we needed for our (almost!) 2 week stay in Budapest - including useful extra towels! We thought the flat was in the perfect location - the mini supermarket and fresh fruit & veg shop literally across the road was extremely convenient and there was plenty of options in terms of public transport - with many cool places within walking distance - roads surrounding the flat are very quiet..
There was only one misunderstanding because I emailed Erzsébet's (website hidden) address instead of using Air BnB's messaging service (wanted to copy my friend into the conversation). The email was about our late check in and must have gone to Erzsébet's junkmail folder :o( ..despite this, Erzsébet was SUPER flexible and was able to accommodate our requests at very short notice, which we obviously REALLY appreciated :o) ..I would DEFINITELY stay in this flat during my next visit to the beautiful Budapest!!!
Thanks again Erzsébet - you are an absolute star - best wishes, Karen xkx
