Our Hostel is changing travelers views of Cancun, one person at a time! We maintain a relaxing atmosphere, the kind that prepares you for a long day exploring some Mayan ruins, or the kind where you can literally kick back and do nothing!

The Hostel building itself was designed in the Mexican 'Hacienda' architectural style. The building has a beautiful faade with huge wooden doors, and amazing tile work. Our bathrooms are NOT stall rooms, but real, home sized bathrooms! All of our thick wooden bunks were designed and made locally.

Welcome to Hostel Ka’beh!
We hope you’ve had a good trip here! We expect your stay with us to be a pleasant and enjoyable one and, to help us out with achieving this, we’ve set out some of the dos and don’ts:
1.) The GOLDEN rule: This Hostel is ‘Your Home Away from Home’. We are here to Help you, not to serve you. Please clean after yourself. Wash your dishes!!!! We cannot stress this enough.
2.) We cannot be held accountable for you and/or your personal property. Please take care of it and yourself. If you need us to watch anything, just let us know!
3.) If you want to store anything in a public area of the Hostel, please use a dated, and named label. They are located by the fridge and coffee maker. Please respect other people’s stuff!
4.) Lights out is officially at 10:00 PM in the dormitory area. *DO-NOT* turn the lights on after this time. You may continue activities throughout the rest of the Hostel at a reasonable noise level.
5.) Upon arrival, you will be asked for a $50 Peso ($5~ish US Dollar) deposit for a towel or a padlock, if you need them. Loss of either of these items (or the key) will incur a loss of this deposit.
6.) Please help us make sure that the next person’s bed is as ready as yours was when you arrived… You may NOT change beds without the approval and help of a Hostel manager.
7.) You may prepare your Breakfast at any time! Just ask reception for one of your options: PB+J, Eggs and Chorizo/hot dog, Pancakes, or Oatmeal!
8.) This is a Hostel environment, be courteous to each other and our staff and clean after yourself! For your convenience, we do not have a lock-out period, so please be courteous to our staff while they clean!
9.) We suggest you let us know what your plans are while you stay with us. Depending on the circumstances, once 36 hours have passed since the last time we’ve had contact with you, we will consider reporting you missing. We take this seriously. Please help us avoid the time and effort involved in such a situation.
10.) If you wish to extend your stay with us, please do so asap. We don’t want to have to tell you that we’re booked and cannot accommodate you!
11.) If you’re going to leave early, PLEASE PACK THE NIGHT BEFORE so as not to wake other guests up at ungodly hours of the morning.
12.) All Amenities are subject to change due to unexpected or adverse circumstances.
Any infringement on these policies may cause a $15 USD penalty, or in extreme situations, removal from the premises. Please be courteous/conscious of the multicultural nature of the Hostel environment!
Thank you, and we hope you will enjoy your stay!
You will be asked to read and sign the above terms, along with provide an emergency contact from anywhere in the world.
Stayed there during the weekend, very nice hostel, close to bus station. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend it.
I just stayed for one night at the hostel, but felt very welcome and supported by the staff...Had to fly out very early the next morning, so they organized a cab and managed everything with the driver! Very recommended, especially if you travel alone and need some assistance :)
The hostel was perfect for my needs - only required to stay one night. However, if I were to return to Cancún and need a place to stay - this will be my first option. The airconditioning was amazing. The neighbourhood was all good, safe to park a car and walk by yourself at night.
I've already booked one more night, but I'll leave this review now :) Ka'beh is awesome!!
It was a great stay, very memorable! Nice clean hostel, friendly and helpful staff, they help in organizing trips and even party with you if you need! Made friends from people around the globe as well! They had a social event every evening helped a great deal during the stay. It was a nice fun home. Thank you David and hostel Kabeh! (Portia, Steffny and Portia)
Awesome hostel. The staff was great fun and always entirely helpful when asked. This is definitely where you want to stay if you want to meet people, have fun, and see all that Cancún has to offer. Every night saw a different kind of party at the hostel, but it was not difficult to get away to a nice air conditioned room for privacy when required (I'm not entirely the partying type). Facilities were somewhat better than anticipated - there are a couple of really great showers, totally serviceable cooking area, and the expected dorm style sleeping quarters. If I come back to Cancún, I'll definitely be back.
