We are an awesome Hostel! We promise you will not regret making us your Home Away from Home while in Cancun!

At Hostel Kabeh we believe in slow travel. You are on vacation! Why should we wake you & take your bed away if it is not necessary? Why put a restriction on your breakfast time? Why should you stress about having to adapt to us? Relax! You are at home. Your home away from home!

Our goal is to be true to what a Hostel should be. We are a low-cost option for globetrotters who are looking to stay at their Home Away from Home. Fellow Guests and Staff are your friends and family, and the Hostel has everything you could possibly need while traveling, but couldnt pack!

Our Hostel is changing travelers views of Cancun, one person at a time! We maintain a relaxing atmosphere, the kind that prepares you for a long day exploring some Mayan ruins, or the kind where you can literally kick back and do nothing!

The Hostel itself is perfectly, centrally located. We're half a block away from the main square, where you can get real, safe, *amazing* Mexican meals for 2-3 USD! The square is also bustling with cultural activities from Thursday to Sunday!

* 3 Blocks away from a major grocery store/Supermarket
* 4 Blocks from the inter-city ADO Bus Station
* 3 Blocks from the Down-Town party scene on the Yaxchilan Av.
2 Blocks from the buses that take you to the Hotel Zone, where Cancuns world famous beaches and Clubs are
located (about $0.50 USD, a 10-15 minute ride.)
* 15-20 minute walk to the food and crafts markets in Cancun (Mercado 23, y 28)

Tours/Excusions/Activities + Tickets we offer:

Visits to the Mayan ruins of: Chichén Itzá, Tulum, and Coba
Entrance to the major clubs: Coco Bongo, Dady'O, The City + The Beach/Pool Party, and Basic
Diving: Reefs, Caves (Cenotes!), Cozumel, Wrecks, and the Underwater Museum as well as Basic Dives and PADI Courses,

  • I didn't end up staying at the hostel, too much tequila in Cancun and stayed with friends, but David was a great host! Very helpful, and timely responses. Hope to return to Cancun and try the hostel then!

  • Staying at Ka'Beh was lovely! The location of the Hostel is very convinient, the nightly entertainment are always a lot of fun, the facility is full of ressources to use for an optimal travel experience and the staff is just amazing! I would like to extend a special thanks to Chuck who went out of his way to ensure that my stay at Ka'beh was memorable. He was there to help me and answer any question I may have and made sure that I was confortable in the facility at all time (i.e. Thanks for letting me have the best hammack ;P ). Thanks so much everyone for an AMAZING stay in Cancun and a particular thanks to Chuck; Ka'Beh will miss you when you're gone.

Go there! You'll have a blast!

  • I stayed in the private room just in front of the hostel itself; which allowed me to have some privacy and quiet rest after the social evenings we had with the other guests staying in the dorms. The hostel staff were very friendly and helpful all the time..... what i liked the most of this place is the non-check-out hours, so you can just take your time to recover from a party before leaving.

    September 2013
  • This hostel is great. I stayed here my first night in Cancun and then returned after a month of travel for my last night. There are always fun activities and lots of interesting young people from all over the world to keep one entertained.

    July 2013
  • Great place to stay. The staff is all very friendly and knowledgeable about things to do, places to eat, etc. If you want to go to Cancun to meet people and have better access to experience the real local food and people, stay here, not in a resort hotel.

The kitchen and bathrooms were great, the hammocks were a great way to relax and the cats were adorable. The people that work here and stay here like to have a good time, so don't stay here if you are looking for a quiet, private place to stay. Stay here if you want to have a good time!
