Gaspare was a great host, waited for quite awhile when I took the wrong metro route eto get to his station. His place is a bit off the beaten path, but quite easy to get into the heart of Rome from there. The apartment was very clean and nice and roomy.
Prime location and very special host. Gaspare met us in the train station and was kind to took us to his home. During the 4 nights we spent in his casa, he was always on and help us a lot in various topics! The apartment has a unique design with a personal touch, very hommy atmosphere and it's equiped with high standard items. It locates in a very nice neighbourhood where you can find a big and cheap supermarket (half minute from the apt), the best coffee in town (don't miss Mario Cornatora in the main street - via Gubbio 27-29c), restaurants, Galeteria and shopping. The accessibility to the center, Vatican, airport and out of the city is very easy and nearby. Highly recommended!
Always is ok. Gaspare met us in apts in midnight. Very nice bedroom, very clean and comfortable rooms. I like his library, and all apts in old style. Best location, trastevere in 10 min, a lot of shops, caffes and fantastic and very cheap bakery near him. Named "Pane Pane Pane"
Host was able to rent bikes to us as well, that was great!
The flat is very spacious and clean with high ceilings. We were able to bike to the bike path on the Tiber river from the apartment which was about 700 metres and from there about 4-5 kilometres from the old city with all the landmarks and attractions. We biked all the way to Vatican city and the cam back along the river.
The apartment is close to Trastevere station and about a 15-20 minute walk to the old Trastevere town with restaurants and other attractions. You can also take a street car from the station for 1.5 euro which will take you there.
Good place to explore Rome from.
Host met us at the Trastevere station and showed us the bike path when we arrived. Very nice!
Rome Fiumico airport is about 25-30 min train ride from Trastevere station.
Gaspare is the attentive and carrying host, wonderful person and attractive man. Thank you for my beautiful vacation!
This is a very clean, spacious apartment with high ceilings, but there is not much natural light in the winter. There is a very loud bell from a church nearby that will wake you up every morning at 7:30am, and the upstairs neighbours seem to like to rearrange their furniture late into the night while wearing high heeled shoes. If you are sensitive to noise, I would not choose this apartment. Otherwise it is in a good location - easy to get to the heart of Rome and a short walk from the nightlife of Trastevere.
The staying @ Gaspare's place has been great. The flat is comfortable with everything I needed, apart from there are mosquitos when the weather is hot. The location is great, its easy to get into to centre of Roma, supermarket and shops are very close to the flat. I arrived the place in the mid August and Gaspare was away on holiday, but he's managed to reply my messages and questions quickly, He also recommended a very nice beach place for me to visit.
Its a place for you if you wish to discover Roma more apart from those touristic areas.
Gaspares place is great- very well maintained, spacious and nice. Short tram ride gets you into the heart of this great city. Highly recommended- well priced, well located, great host.
My stay in this little apartment was perfect. The location is great for both getting to the heart of Rome and the airport. The community is close to a lot of happening area's but is not as busy as other parts of Rome. The apartment is also located next to a grocery store and the bus stops right out front. Great location. The apartment was perfect and so cozy and had everything you need!
Gaspare is a good gost, he had find time to show me around the area and took out for a dinner. The location is also wonderful both for going to airport or for going to the downtown.
