A very convenient apartment near SOHO! a very bright bedroom with 2 side windows in both of the bedrooms.
Sheung wan is a tradition place for travelers to feel the old hong kong. old and new hong kong is combined. Also, its very convenient to many sight seeing and MTR just 6 mins walk!
- 1 MTR stations to Central
- 3 MTR stations to Tsim Sha Shui
- 4 MTR stations to Causeway Bay
- 1 min walk to laundry
- 1 min walk to 7-11 convenient shop & super market
- 6 mins walk to MTR station
- 6 mins walk to Man Mo Temple
- 6 mins walk to Upper Lascar Row
- 11 mins walk to SOHO
- 10 mins walk to Macau Ferry
The hot sight seeing spot like Man Mo Temple, Upper lascar Road (shop for traditional china) are only 6 mins walk. SoHo is only 11 mins walk. SoHo is a place for eating and night clubing. Many western restaurants and place to drink like Lan Kwai Fong. There are also many art gallery nearby which is very famous. If you want to try local food, there are famous congee restaurant, japanese restaurant, and many local restaurant within 10 mins walk. or just downstairs, there are also few restaurants.
and, if you will go to macau, macau ferry is only 10 mins walk too. For my apartment, i think most of the guests also like there are supermarkets, convenient shops, laundry downstairs. and most important, you can enjoy unlimited hot water during bath. since some old building only got few mins of hot water and wait for 15mins for another few mins of hot water. so all your family can enjoy good shower after a day trip. just find a place you love! enjoy the trip in hong kong!
There are 2 double beds in each of the bedroom, and one sofa bed for 2 people in the living room. Fresh linens is provided. Town gas water heater installed for unlimited and immediately hot water for your warm shower! (Please note that most apartment in HK installed with electricity water heater which you have to wait 15min for hot water and the hot water only enough for 5-10 minute shower. It's a pity for traveling with a group ;) so, take a note)
In addition, this apartment suitable for longer stay and for a family especially with children. We have a washing machine installed and you could clean your clothes and do not need to bring too many clothing along with you. (as HK space is limited, not every apartment will have it's own washing machine, you may search the amenities in Airbnb and will discover that)
- washing machine
- cooking utensil
- town gas water heater (unlimited & immediately hot water supply)

Keep SILENT, NO TALKING in the corridor. As most of my neighborhood are elderly, they love very very quiet. Thanks so much to respect my neighborhood.
Non-smoke, no pets, no party, keep quiet in the apartment.
Please help to be environmental friendly, switch off the air-con and other electrical appliances when leaving the apartment or not using them.
Thanks for your kind understanding and wish you have a nice trip! ^^
P.S. welcome to ask for more information for traveling around Hong Kong
My parents & sis & I stayed 6days in Sheung Wan.
The location was PERFECT. It was close to tram, ferry (to Macau) and MTR. Also Cafe de coral is nearby, so we enjoyed breakfast every morning. Sasa, Mcdonalds, Welcome mart, Starbucks... all you need is nearby.
Apartment was smaller than I expected, But it is HONKONG! The beds were good and hot water was really nice. But rooms are little cold at night. Kitchen was tiny, but every thing was prepared.
I will stay here when I visit HK again :-)
Me and my friends rented Irene's appartement for 18 days. It was clean and close by Central.
The kitchen was small but we didn't used it so that was also oke. The door of the showercabin however was missing, so all the water just splashes outside the showercabin.
Furthermore, i emailed beforehand if the airco was working at the appartement, and irene assured me that everything is working. But when we arrived at the appartment, the airco of the livingroom didnt work. It took 13 days to replace the airco and it was really hot during those days.
But overall it's a nice appartment, really central and i would recommend it now the airco is fixed!
First of all let me say, i didn't intend to write any review but my experience has been so horrific that i feel it is fair to share to anyone thats thinking about renting this apartment out.
Before i start let me note that i have never written one before so you can imagine how upset i am.
The apartment is so small so if you don't mind sharing the apartment with 5 people in a cage then ignore this and what made things even worst the air con is so old and loud it took forever to cool a tiny room.
To make things even worst the apartment is so run down that the shower glass door came off and smashed to bits leading to deep cuts all over my brother body and yet the host has the cheek to charge me for damage!
I hope this message gets to anyone that is about to make a mistake by booking this place and choose elsewhere.
yea, somehow, i feel not fair with facing this irresponsible guest. First of all, my shower tub is a brand new one, just replaced 3 months ago when his checked in, and my shower tub with tempered glass was totally broken by him.
And second, when i go and check my flat when he and his another 4 friends check out. All the bed and sofa, table and floor, are totally a mess! With alcohol bottle, ciga...etc all over. Will there be chance that you guy are drunk in my apartment (it not a problem to have some drinks!) and broken my shower door carelessly? And blame my brand new shower tub running down...?
Third, very clearly, this is Hong Kong! my flat is a very typical 300 sg ft, two bedrooms flat in HK! is small? then you shouldn't book this one. I list all information in the listing, are you doing irresponsible booking? and many family of 4-5 staying here without a problem. And my flat is totally not a "special small flat" but just a typical flat that you could see in the 1000s listing on airbnb HK flat!
Fourth, this guy, have so many experience on airbnb, he claimed. But he get nil reviews, nil comment... well... are you set up new account to book everytime after each booking. as you caused too many trouble to other host, and having argue with every of them, so just cannot keep a good review record?
I feel really shame to host you, but luckily, i know this kind of irresponsible and not respectful person, only one in a hundred. Wish we never meet again before you grow up! boys!
And for other guests viewing this, i wish you not just consider this guest's revenge comment (because i complaint him to airbnb). So, on the other hand, also have a check on my other reviews on this flat, and also my other flats. I always trust good person is the majority on airbnb. Wish to have more nice experience to erase this experience that given by this 5 young boys...!
The stay at Irene was very enjoyable. We were 3 adults accompanied by a toddler and the apartment fit our needs. It is very well located, few minutes away from public transportation, many restaurants and shops are walking distance.
Irene also left us a few addressees in the apartment and recommended a very nice and authentic Dim Sum places only few blocks away.
Practical and convenient for a long WE in Hong Kong!
thanks Audrey, yea, all my family's apartment lcoated right within 10 minute to the nearest MTR station. so, it would be great for our guest to come and stay here for their trip in hk. And thanks much for your stay and happy that you enjoy it. wish to host you again in the future . irene
I stayed at Irene's place with some friends for five days. It was the perfect place to be staying at as we were out and about most days and nights. It's conveniently within walking distances around central and soho. A quick walk to the MTR got us to Kowloon easily. Irene's place was neat and had great air conditioning which was very much needed during this hot season. Irene was easily contactable throughout the trip. I would recommend this place as a better alternative to hotels. Particularly if you're in HK for a short time shopping and eating with friends. Thanks Irene!
Irene was very helpful throughout from booking to check-in & check-out. You can always count on her should you require any assistance with regards to the apartment.
Great location! About 5-10mins walk to Sheung Wan MTR... Many eateries around the area as well. Including convenience stores which is always great for midnight snacks/drinks! Also, about 15mins walk to LKF which is a plus point - saves on taxi after a late night out.
Overall, great apartment with good facilities. Nice & cosy for 2-3 pax. Definitely an apartment to consider staying at.
The apartment was very comfortable and very well located. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this apartment as being very good value.

I like travel and home decoration!
I think each home should have its own theme. simple, relax, loft, colourful.....etc.
For my hobbies, I like yoga, snowboard and volleyball. And I am so welcome to meet someone from other country. Wish to share more with you.
Its really nice if we can rent others home. :)
I was just coming back from Osaka, Japan. Really a great and fun trip with my lovely sisters and family. Pattaya, Thailand in July, Sabah in Sep. The sunshine made me relax!
And now, planning a trip to Hokkiado, Japan, at the end of this year! snowboarding is the theme of this trip! :)
