Steps from the bay and an easy three block walk to the ocean, this is the perfect family seaside getaway. First floor of home, this clean and comfortable apartment features a large eat-in kitchen with dishwasher, washer and dryer! There are two bedrooms, one with queen and the other with twin beds, and the oversized living room has two pullout sofas. The full bath has stall shower, and there is the added bonus of a great enclosed outdoor shower. The neighborhood is quiet and family-friendly, yet walking distance to so many activities. Boating, fishing, crabbing are all nearby, a playground and basketball court a few blocks away on the bay, and the front deck is a great place to sit and watch the sunset. A small charcoal grill and patio set is included. Pristine natural beaches are just a 10-minute drive to Island Beach State Park. Biking is safe and fun all around. The amusement boardwalk is close enough so you don't have to drive -- easy enough to get to for rides and games, but far enough away so that the neighborhood is peaceful and clean. Off street parking is included as are two beach badges.
Families and couples only, please!

Joys place was great! we had a wonderful time very comfortable, and easy to do business with. her Mom was very helpful too... We would definitely stay again ...Loved it...
The house in Seaside Park is truly a perfect family getaway. It's very spacious with a large living room, a kitchen and two bedrooms- perfect for a big family; there are two showers inside and outside. The house is very close to the fun part of the town(Seaside Heights) yet far enough where you feel safe. The walk to the beach is about 10 mins, we had to drive a car a few times to be able to bring seats and umbrellas. But again, we felt safe in the area. It wouldn't be the case if you're too close to the boardwalk. Beach badges were also provided and that is a huge money saver. As a host, Joy was very accomodating and helpful- responded to all of my messages in a timely manner. If we had to choose the place all over again, we would choose this one no doubt!
I live in New York City, have twins, and own Paragraph, a workspace for writers on 14th Street near Union Square, and write fiction. My husband is a fiction writer, as well. Before we had babies, the last two places we traveled to were Ecuador and Nicaragua. When we travel, we plan some of the trip, but wing a lot of it, too. We're low key and mostly like to eat and walk around when we visit places. Now that we've got two little ones, and it feels like moving troops to get on a plane, we stay a bit more local.
