Room for 5 with 2 bedrooms (plus a mini bedroom in a large closet) & 2 full bathrooms, near I-71, 10 minutes to downtown, off street parking for two cars.
Our condo is a smoke free, pet free, 2 bedroom (plus a large closet converted into a small 3rd room), 2 bath. One bedroom has a queen size bed, the second has two twins and the "sleeping nook" has one more twin. The sofa bed fits 2 (in case there are two couples and one of them would rather not split up into twin beds), PRIOR NOTICE IS REQUIRED IF SOFA BED WILL BE NEEDED. We also have a Pack-n-Play if you need a crib.
We prefer that groups be a maximum of 4, but we leave 5 as an option in case of children or other special circumstances.
Third floor condo with the entrance on the second floor, so there are only 14 steps to climb. Coin operated washer & dryer are down the hall.

10 minutes from the Convention Center, KFC YUM center, 4th Street Live and all the activities found in downtown Louisville. 15-20 minutes to Freedom Hall and the airport.
$90/night for the first 2 guests, extra guests $20/person/night, *special event weekends may have a different price*. Weekly and monthly rates available. There is a $300 security deposit and a $45 cleaning fee.
Fully equipped kitchen (dishes/silverware/glasses, cookware, baking pans, utensils, spices/condiments/oil, etc), bedrooms and bathrooms (linens, alarm clocks, towels, soap, toothpaste, TP and baby wipes).

Coin operated washer and dryer available down the hallway, AC furnace, hot and cold water, stove, oven, dishwasher, small microwave, fridge with ice and water dispenser, freezer, George Forman grill and panini press, blender, hand mixer and small food processor, French Press and cordless hot water kettle.

We will meet you at check in but you will be staying in the condo by yourself, we will be available nearby if you need anything.
We provide coffee, tea, milk, and some food for you to prepare your breakfast.
Walking distance from the Veterans' Hospital, Mockingbird Valley Indoor Soccer Club, Louisville Water Tower and the Ohio River.
Nearby attractions: Waterfront Park, Mellwood Arts Center, MOM's Music, Water Tower Museum, Thomas Edison House, Locust Grove Historic Home, Zachary Taylor National Cemetery, Carrie Gaulbert Cox Park and boat ramp, King Fish Restaurant (river front), and all the stores and restaurants of Frankfort Road.
Commerce within one mile: Kroger (grocery), CVS Pharmacy, PNC Bank, dry cleaners, restaurants (fast food and casual dining), liquor stores, coffee shops and more.
The city bus (TARC) stops in front of the condo, line #15.

Other Things to Note
Prior to your arrival I will send you an email with all the information you will need (& more!). Directions to our building, how to enter (if I can't meet you), where to find things, wifi password, etc.
There are some board games, playing cards, magazines & tourist information guides you can use. You can also help yourself to the stationary on the living room table.
Safety features: smoke detectors and fire extinguishers in kitchen and bedrooms, also in bedroom closets are safety ladders to climb out the windows in case of an emergency.
Only guests who have passed the approval processs can stay in the condo. DO NOT ADD GUESTS WITHOUT APPROVAL, WE'LL BE FORCED TO CANCEL THE BOOKING IMMEDIATELY WITHOUT A REFUND.
Call me first if you want to use the sofa as a bed.
If I leave the keys for you in a lock box, remove the lockbox as soon as you get the keys and DON'T put it back when you check out.
We don't allow smoking or illegal drugs in the condo. We live in this condo part time, and even though our kids will not be staying there at the same time as guests, we want to keep our home as toxin/poison free as possible.
Firearms and explosives are not permitted inside the condo or common areas.
Quiet hours are between 10pm and 8am, please be mindful of excessive noise during other times as well.
Please be courteous to the other residents.
Do not prop open the doors in the common areas.
First car park in space E, second car park in the middle lot in between the two buildings (half way up the hill) not in the lettered parking spaces directly behind the building. Also no trucks, SUV's or work vehicles can park in space E.
No hanging or dumping items from balcony.
Do not leave items or trash in common areas (entrance, hallways, laundry room, etc).
Please try to leave the condo in relatively the same condition you found it & please take your trash to the dumpster when you check out.
Isle met us upon arrival at her apartment and made us feel very welcome. The description of her apartment is very accurate. The apartment is located a few miles from downtown, but getting to everywhere we wanted to go was fairly simple. The apartment is very well equipped and was very clean. Not having a TV could be a negative for some visitors, but this is clearly disclosed on the website. However, the provided wifi signal was good so we kept ourselves entertained with our computers. The only suggestion we have to improve the apartment's amenities would be to have room-darkening window coverings in the bedrooms. There are some lights in the parking lot that stay on during the night that keep the bedrooms somewhat lit. Overall, our visit was very good and would recommend Ilse's apartment to Louisville visitors.
Clean and welcoming condo with fruit, milk, and bread provided on arrival. Ilse contacted us in advance to check which beds to set up for our party of 6. The location was close to downtown Louisville, and Ilse also recommended activities that our kids would enjoy. The hot water came on immediately (faster than in our own home!), which we appreciated.
Great location. Private free parking was great! Super clean and quiet! Very comfortable beds! Everything was great!
The apartment was a great deal, and a convenient location for our trip to Louisville.
We really enjoyed our stay! We travel monthly to visit family. The photos are very accurate if anything, the property is bigger and nicer. Ilse was easy to reach by text or phone. She called prior to our arrival for the sleeping arrangments and placed the pack and play in the bedroom that worked best for us. The neighbor hood was wonderful and the neighbors very quiet. We cooked most of our meal at the property which was great on our budget. The grocery store was very convenient so we didnt have to pack food from Alabama to Louisville. She also encouraged us to review what she currently had in her pantry so that we didnt buy things such as salt, spices, flour, ketchup, mustard, etc.
We loved the WiFi but did miss having a television to connect a DVD player.
Ilse was wonderful! Her communication before, during, and after the trip was great. The instructions to get into the house were easy to follow. The house was in excellent condition and felt incredibly welcoming when we walked in. It was the perfect home for our get-a-way. The location is great--just outside of the downtown area and we had no problem getting lyfts/ubers to and from the condo. We would absolutely stay here again and would highly recommend Ilse to anyone!

I am a freelance Spanish interpreter and actor. My husband and I also own a working farm in Henry County where we raise free range pigs and goats. We have two great kids and love meeting new people.
