Sally’s studio is just perfect for relaxed holidays! It’s nice decorated and equipped with everything you need. We liked the lovely terrace where we barbecued a couple of times. The studio is located in a quiet and nice hamlet. We went swimming at a wonderful local swimming spot, kayaked on the Gardon, explored surrounding villages and made a daytrip to the Carmague. Sally herself is a very friendly and welcoming person! She was always open for a chat and gave us some great advice of where to go and what to see. Thank you Sally! I can fully recommend this studio!
Sally made us feel very welcome; a cold bottle of rose and breakfast for the first morning. The studio is very lovely and spacious, with fully equiped kitchen and a bathroom. We enjoyed the studio, the garden and terrace. It's a perfect location for trips to Uzès and Pont du Gard.
I have three grown-up children and two grandchildren.
I started my working life in BBC Radio, Schools and Drama departments, as a production secretary, before training in stage-management and becoming an assistant stage-manager with various theatre companies, including the National Theatre in London. Several years later, whilst still bringing up my family, I did a Fine Art degree in painting. I am still painting, and I am also teaching drawing part-time to a small private group, which I enjoy very much.
My interests include visiting art galleries, going to the cinema, music (all sorts), design (furniture & architecture in particular), cycling around London and in France, tai chi and swimming, and I would like to do more travelling.
I'm letting the studio attached to my small house in southern France, from the last week in June to the first week in September (minimum stay 2 days).
