I'm Boris, 30, i work as a photographer, i live here with my girlfriend. If you want to feel like a real Parisian, eat, drink and go out like the french do, I'll be happy to share with you some tips !
I'm french and i've been living in Paris for the past 14 years, so i know a bit of the city...
Each room has large doubled glassed windows. The living room is very cosy with big designers sofas, books, etc....
Also my two adorable cats dont go on holidays, so they will be in the flat. They are absolutely pacific creatures, and also very very discreet, not the jump-on-the-dinner-table kind.
Neighbours are very friendly too, the building has a nice atmosphere.
The metro station is right across the street, Louis Blanc, on the line 7, which ride straight to Opera and Chatelet. The great buttes Chaumont park in 15min walk, Belleville is 2 metro stations away. The Canal Saint Martin is a must of the summer in Paris, with all the cool and young crowd getting together to have fun, play music, enjoy the warm atmosphere of Paris in summer.
So if you want have a taste of the very cool and young side of Paris, with the charm of a bourgeois Apartment, this place is made for you!

I did enjoy staying to Boris place.
Boris and Anita, thank you very much for your hospitality!
Boris, Anita, and the cat Gina are easy going. Staying with them for the entire month made the life in Paris much easier. They are just like friends and also invited me to join their party and stuff. If you are looking for a classic movie kinda life in Paris, this is not for you. But if you want to have a taste of bobo lifestyle, then welcome to the hipster ville.
Boris as well as his girlfriend are both friendly, welcoming and casual people. Their home is also casual but comfortable and very Parisian. The location of the apartment is very convenient for main-line trains, the metro, the RER and the regular bus. The rue Lafayette is a noisy street though, even late at night, so a light sleeper should think carefully about this destination. Otherwise, a visitor can feel at ease with Boris.
Hi Neville, I'm sorry if street noise was a problem during your stay. Every rooms is equipped with double glazed windows so hosts had no trouble with noise before. However I have to say the agenda has smthg to do with the noise: there is many events/ outdoor shows in Paris during mid july, right after the national celebration day of the july 14th. Also it was the first week-end of the summer that actually felt like summer, really hot and no rain. That's why people (including me!), stayed in bars or in the street later than usual. About ventilator, there is actually one dedicated for guests! I just forgot to mention it. Sorry about that!
Boris and Anita were fantastic hosts! So fun to stay with and easy to get along with. The metro stop across the road made it easy to get anywhere in Paris within 20 mins. The apartment is really cool and clean also light and spacious with everything you need. The location near the Canal St Martin is also great and Gina the cat is the best!
Boris and Anita were freindly, very helpful great hosts. We were happy to stay at their flat!
Staying at Boris and Anita's place has been such a delight. The apartment is spacious, lovely, and the location is unbeatable. Close to the Canal Saint-Martin, and good access to trains and metro, you get to anywhere in paris in around 20 minutes.
Both Boris and Anita are really friendly people and I would definitely stay with them again.
Boris is a wonderful host:) I stayed there for about a week, It was really interesting to talk with him about his work and life in Paris. All the flat is very clean, and its location is great: one minute from the metro, near Canal St.Martin. There are a lot of cafes and bars there, and a few nice shops with clothes, shoes and some other things.
The cat was a little bit shy at first, but then very friendly)
