Our Villa is waiting for you with its unique, old-fashioned and rustic atmosphere near the Vuokatti Sports Centre!
Built in the 1930’s as a farmhouse it has a separate sauna on a picturesque lake.
You can combine relaxation with sports activity.

The space
The Villa was built in the 1930’s as a farmhouse and it consists of two floors. Downstairs you will find a large living room with uncovered walls of old wood which gives a good idea of an original Finnish country life in the past decades. The fireplace in the middle of the living room warms up the space and creates a cosy feeling. There are also two bedrooms of the same style.

Going upstairs will bring you closer to our modern days. You will stay in a more sophisticated environment, in the 50’s or 60’s, with painted and papered walls. There are two more bedrooms, an alcove for sleeping and another one for reading and studying as well as a large space for spending time together. There is an exit onto a terrace with a typical Finnish view over lakes and forests. The veranda under it is a perfect place for breakfast on a sunny morning.

There are beds at least for a company of ten people.

In spite of the old atmosphere the villa is equipped with all modern conveniences. The bathroom has a shower, toilet and a washing machine. In the kitchen you will find an electric stove, an oven, a dishwasher, a fridge, a microwave, a coffee maker, an electric kettle and a toaster.

For your entertainment you’ll have a TV, a DVD and a CD player as well as a radio at your disposal.

The sauna stands on the lake at about a hundred metres from the house. It has a little dressing room where you can also have a rest after bathing. There is also a boat available and it can be used whenever there is no ice on the lake.

The neighbours don’t live far away but they are covered by a small forest so that your privacy is absolutely guaranteed. All the abundant choice of services provided by the Vuokatti Sports Centre as well as many shops lie about five kilometres away and the distance to the town of Sotkamo is about ten kilometres.
