LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION
The room is just steps away from Atlantic Terminal Shopping center which features a Target store, grocery, shoe store, and many other shops. It is around the corner from the historic BAM Theater. It is less than a five minute walk to the subway station with access to the 2,3,4,5,6,B,D,N,Q,R trains and the Long Island Rail Road. Via subway, you could be in lower Manhattan in less than 15 minutes!
The room is located around the corner from great shops and restaurants located on Fulton and Lafayette. It is also a short stroll to Downtown Brooklyn.
Sleeps up to 2 and is non-smoking.
The only thing shared is the bathroom which is across from the room. The room is completely private with your own set of keys. It is a studio room without the bathroom attached to the room.
Upon arrival, you are primarily greeted by myself or my house cleaner who will give you the keys and show you around the apartment. We then leave you to enjoy the apartment and city. I am always available by email, text, or phone if you have any questions.
The room was HUGE!!! The area was a fantastic and convenient area with extremely easy subway access. I didn't even have any trouble finding parking in front of the building when I had a rental car. It is really nice having the kitchen area and huge closet when staying more than a few days.
The only problem that could be had about the room is that the building is very old and you can hear everything. Even though you are on the third floor the people on the street sound like they are right next to you. It doesn't help any that the windows are super thin and don't close tight to the frame.
I never got to meet Tanya because of my schedule but she was very helpful in making sure I was able to check in even very late and she checked with me a few times during my trip to make sure everything was good.
Tanya and Erika were prompt and communicative. I really appreciate their availability and flexibility. This room was very conveniently located, too.
I chose this place because of the number of reviews and I'm glad I did. Staying here couldn't have been easier. Check in and check out was quick and easy. Room was as advertised with clean sheets and towels. I just needed a place to lay my head for the evening while I was in town to see friends, so this worked well for me. Also, the host was great with communication.
Note: If you're used to quiet suburban living, you'll find this place to be noisy, so I'd recommend ear plugs, but that may be the city in general and not a commentary on this room.
I've stayed here twice and Erika is always very communicative and helpful - though I've yet to meet her in person. There's a key box that's easy to use and the place is always very clean and spacious as the photos advertise - really nice to have a fridge and kitchenette in the room too.
Warm, comfortable room in a great Brooklyn location. Large room with a proper bed, table & chairs was a plus. Basic facilities but all worked well. Shared bathroom was exceptionally clean. Two subway stations within 2 mins walk ment that you could be anyway in Manhattan easily and quickly.
Loved staying in Erika's place! Not being familiar with Brooklyn at all before coming, I was a little overwhelmed trying to pick an apartment in a good location. Hers ended up being perfect! Fort Greene is a great neighborhood with lots to do, and it didn't hurt having Target a block away. :) The apartment was clean and cozy and Erika was very prompt with answering text messages. Enjoyed our stay here very much!
This was great, cozy clean and connvenient!
We love the Apt and the neighborhood! One train to JFK, two blocks from Atlantic Terminal (a big Metro Station with a lot of subways, 15 minutes to Manhattan), a big room, really clean and fully equipped (to cook, sleep, see TV, sleep and dream). Erika is a perfect host! If we back to NYC, we back to this Apt. Thanks for all Erika!
This room was so quaint and comfortable. The bathroom was impeccably cleaned twice a day everyday and the room itself felt clean, light and airy. The location was perfect for getting to an from the city and Erika was very kind and willing to be flexible in order to ensure that we had a most comfortable and memorable stay. We would definitely stay here again.
Great location and perfect room for the price. We would definitely stay there again.
