  • A place exactly as advertised and a perfect landing pad in Brooklyn. Everything worked smoothly and even though there were events at the Barclay Center, I really didn't hear any noise in the street as others have mentioned. Highly recommended!

  • The Room was in a very good location close to many subway stations. It was clean and as described. Unfortunately it was very loud and chilli on the bed because it kind of felt like there even were no windows just some slice of glass with some leaks. It was very comfortable to have a fridge and microwave. We also got new towels after one week and the bathroom was very clean although ot was shared.

I probably would not host Ann again.

  • This little studio is in a fantastic location. Close to many subway stops, Target if you forget anything and many, many little coffee shops and restaurants. The room was open and airy, the shared bathroom very clean. Joey was there to give us our key upon arrival and communicating with Tanya and Erika via text was convenient. We would definitely stay here again.

  • The apartment is great for the price! It's big enough with a sink and fridge. Only bad part was that the windows were old and didn't seal well. The noise from Barclay's was a little loud but not unbearable. The apartment was super convienient and exactly 1 block from almost every single train in NYC. Overall a great experience; would stay again.

  • The room was HUGE!!! The area was a fantastic and convenient area with extremely easy subway access. I didn't even have any trouble finding parking in front of the building when I had a rental car. It is really nice having the kitchen area and huge closet when staying more than a few days.

The only problem that could be had about the room is that the building is very old and you can hear everything. Even though you are on the third floor the people on the street sound like they are right next to you. It doesn't help any that the windows are super thin and don't close tight to the frame.

I never got to meet Tanya because of my schedule but she was very helpful in making sure I was able to check in even very late and she checked with me a few times during my trip to make sure everything was good.

  • Tanya and Erika were prompt and communicative. I really appreciate their availability and flexibility. This room was very conveniently located, too.

  • I chose this place because of the number of reviews and I'm glad I did. Staying here couldn't have been easier. Check in and check out was quick and easy. Room was as advertised with clean sheets and towels. I just needed a place to lay my head for the evening while I was in town to see friends, so this worked well for me. Also, the host was great with communication.

Note: If you're used to quiet suburban living, you'll find this place to be noisy, so I'd recommend ear plugs, but that may be the city in general and not a commentary on this room.

  • I've stayed here twice and Erika is always very communicative and helpful - though I've yet to meet her in person. There's a key box that's easy to use and the place is always very clean and spacious as the photos advertise - really nice to have a fridge and kitchenette in the room too.

  • Warm, comfortable room in a great Brooklyn location. Large room with a proper bed, table & chairs was a plus. Basic facilities but all worked well. Shared bathroom was exceptionally clean. Two subway stations within 2 mins walk ment that you could be anyway in Manhattan easily and quickly.

  • Loved staying in Erika's place! Not being familiar with Brooklyn at all before coming, I was a little overwhelmed trying to pick an apartment in a good location. Hers ended up being perfect! Fort Greene is a great neighborhood with lots to do, and it didn't hurt having Target a block away. :) The apartment was clean and cozy and Erika was very prompt with answering text messages. Enjoyed our stay here very much!
