  • Susan was very welcoming to a weary traveller from Australia (via Singapore, London, and Edinburgh!) and the warm, light, and clean bedroom & bathroom were exactly what was needed. The bed was lovely.

This would be an ideal place for an academic/researcher to stay while visiting St Andrews. There's an hourly bus right outside, and a more frequent (4/hr) bus 10 mins down the road in the village of Guardbridge.

Most importantly, Susan was lovely, very accommodating, had a wealth of knowledge about Fife, and served a delicious breakfast each morning. It was also a lovely surprise to have a little "care package" in the evening, with some lovely sweet homemade treats.

    Highly recommended.

I have been running our Bed and Breakfast for 26 years. My husband is a farmer and we have 2 grown-up children. As well as beef cattle we have 2 dogs called Pip and Rusty. I love horses, walks, going on holiday and have recently started learning to play the saxophone.
