My home is modest and small. Recently renovated kitchen, updated bathroom (which is shared with owner), new flooring. Comfortable and cozy room for 1 person or a couple, with a huge back yard to relax in, too! I have dogs and cats, important for those with allergies to know. However, my house is very clean, comfortable and cozy and my pets do not have access to the guest room.
Guests will have access to living area, kitchen, dining area, and bathroom (which is shared). Guests also enjoy a large, peaceful backyard and garden area.
Interaction with Guests
Cherie will greet guests upon arrival and will be on premises. She is very sensitive to how much interaction each guest(s) might desire. THE ENTIRE HOME IS FOR RENT FOR FULL WEEKS AND FULL WEEKENDS. Please make inquiries to host.
I live in the Westwood neighborhood. These homes were built between (phone number hidden). It is a friendly and safe area; and Westwood Hills Park is just two blocks from my house, a beautiful place to hike. Napa Premium Outlets is within walking distance. Downtown Napa is a skip and a throw, by car 5 minutes away.
Buses will get you to almost every desirable location and there is a stop within walking distance of my home. I provide guests with off street parking in my driveway if they desire. Napa is about an hour south of the Sacramento Airport and about 1 to 1-1/2 hours north of Oakland and San Francisco Airports. Black Tie Taxi is also available. It's a 5 minute drive to downtown, easy highway access to head up valley and Yountville is only 9 minutes away.
Other Things to Note

My house rules are simple: Please be respectful of me and my home. This is a non-smoking environment. If you have a dog that is socialized with other dogs and cats, your pet is welcome. Pet sitting is offered for an additional fee (depending on length of stay).
'A Little Bit of Heaven' is the right name for Cherie's home. It is very peaceful, and so is she. Her pets are well-behaved and friendly. I was visiting for business reasons, and it was so much more calming to stay at her place than at a hotel. The bed is the most comfortable in the world, she has tons of hot water, and her yard is lovely. She provided yummy breakfasts and snacks, and I very much enjoyed her company. Highly recommend.
It was a pleasure to stay at Cheries' home and we will certainly try to book again next time we are in the area! Our hostess and her pets provided a warm, comfortable place to rest up before exploring the valley the next day. Cherie makes great blueberry muffins and her insights on the community and local businesses were a welcome topic of conversation.
Staying at Cherie's house was a perfect experience and better than most hotels I would say. The house is amazing and Cherie is the sweetest, most lovely host. She provided everything from snacks and drinks to good advice about where to go in Napa Valley. Perfect recommendation.
Thank you, Rasmus! I wish you and Kirstine could have stayed longer in Napa Valley; and I do hope you enjoy Portland. I loved chatting with the two of you on the morning of your departure and learning a little bit more about your country. I wish you both all the best.
We had the best time at Cherie's. Her home is beautiful, cosy and welcoming. Cherie was the perfect host, providing good tips for the area, great conversation and an awesome breakfast with freshly cooked blueberry muffins. The room and amenities are everything you could ask for, with refreshments, water, wifi, adorable pets, guide books all provided! Whenever we're back in the area we'll be sure to stay again.
Well, our first Airbnb experience as guests as we have been hosts for over a year. And I think we hit a home run! And with all of watching the SF Giants trounce the Royals, it was a very good evening. Cherie was fantastic as a host - welcoming, accommodating (even tied my shoes as I have a broken wrist!)
Neighborhood is historic old Napa - working class and close to everything. I just wish we had more time to explore Napa with her. oh, and she loved our dog! what more could you want.
Cheries place was a fantastic spot for our two night stopover. Gorgeous house and very comfortable. Cherie also provided us with some excellent recommendations for dinner and vineyards. Very helpful. Will definitely be giving her a call if /when we return! 10 out of 10.

We had a wonderful stay and would recommend this AirBnB.
I find life rich, mysterious, interesting, and beautiful despite what may challenge me. I traveled to Europe for the first time last year with my daughter and son-in-law and made a promise to myself that I would give myself the gift of travel as often as I could. Since then I've traveled to Memphis, Nashville and Washington DC. I hope very much to see Italy in 2015! I'm lucky to live in Napa Valley and I find it a precious place to live for it's culture, heritage, wine, food, and the people. I enjoy organic gardening, cooking for friends, taking weekend getaways with friends, and spending time outdoors with my 4-leggeds. I left a career as an executive in the financial industry and just left a 9 year volunteer role with our local Chamber, the last as it's chair. I love connecting people, finding ways to help others, and spending time with my children and grandchildren. I an a voracious reader, love to write, and dabble in photography.
