Come and enjoy a little creek with fishermen boats and crystalline waters. The beach is only at one minute walk, it's a ideal place to enjoy the sea: a little beach, pine trees and mediterranean way of life (that means tasty food, water, sun and forest walks). Fresh house at the sea border.

The space

The house spacious and simple, distributed in 3 floors:
0= parking for 2 cars
1st floor = entrance door and 3 bedrooms + 2 bathrooms
2nd = living and dining-room, terrace with table, kitchen, laundry room, guests toilet
3rd = terrace

One suite (double bed with bathroom) and two bedrooms, one with 2 beds, the other with 3 single beds. Provided with fresh linen and towels.
The kitchen, old style, is equipped with refrigerator, gas cooking and small appliances.
Laundry room with washing machine, place to iron and a sink.
All painted white plus some touches of strong colors. The façade and bathrooms has been made new in 2.012.

It has a sunny terrace in front of a mediterranean forest.
The pedestrian street in front is calm. Out of season is perfect for a retreat. During summer is more busy. The water is very fresh and clean most of the days because of the bay. Best time to take a bath is early in the morning, you can see when the sun arises or swim during the moon nights in summer.
TIP: when you have wind and strong waves check beaches with other orientation (South).
TIP 2: use plastic shoes for the beach because you have ; you can also swim from the rocks, or from "ses Vaques" on the way to Aiguafreda. You will love to do some snorkeling.

you can have access at the restaurant hostel Sa tuna and Es Catius (they only open in high season, Easter to September) and in Begur. In Begur you have a library with free internet too.

Lila was very welcoming and answered all our questions. We went in the middle of October and it was chilly at night but Lila had bought duvets and firewood for us. The house is over 2 floors with the garage at the bottom of 4 floors. It is there holiday home so a little sparse but we had lots of space.We have 3 teenagers but I think children over 3 would be fine with the stairs as you can close off the lounge and patio and 2 of the bedrooms downstairs with doors. Sa Tuna was a wonderful base to visit the Dali triangle. The walks are lovely. There are 4 restaurants which had just closed for the winter but it did mean we almost had the village to ourselves which was lovely and peaceful. The flat is very close to the beach and perfect for swimming and days spent on the beach. With its own garage parking was never a problem. There is s Spar supermarket in Begur so we spent the days out and had supper at the flat. It is a very beautiful part of the coast and we were very lucky to have stayed here.

A fantastic house very close to the sea front in this beautiful creek. Couldn't have chosen a more beautiful location to spend a few days with another family. The house was on 2 floors with bedrooms and bathrooms downstairs and living room, kitchen, guest toilet and huge terrace on the first floor. We parked one of our cars in the garage and the other easily on the small road behind the house. The house was extremely clean, plenty of bedding and towels and a well equipped kitchen and laundry area. I didn't personally meet Lila but my friends who did said that despite a slight delay to her arrival, Lila was very open, friendly and accommodating. My only comment would be if bringing small children (ie crawling babies) as we did, the stairs need to be watched or child proofed. Other than that, a fantastic place in a beautiful part of the world Many thanks Lila!

The house was very spacious and very clean. It was only a few steps to the cosy Sa Tuna beach. If you sleep in the masterbedroom, during the weekends evenings and in the early mornings there was streetnoise. But the other two bedrooms, also spacious, were very quiet. Very handy was the garage, where we could park our rental car. We had a great time is this lovely house. Thank you Lila!

We absolutely loved this house and the village of Sa Tuna. Lila was delayed arriving to let us in but stayed in contact and was very helpful when we did meet up. The house is much bigger than expected with a fantastic terrace, it provided plenty of space for four adults, two small children and a teenager. It has many beautiful details such as original windows and a gorgeous old kitchen, combined with the modern convenience of new bathrooms and appliances. We would have stayed for a month if we could! Thanks Lila for introducing us to this beautiful part of Spain.

Lila's house is in a great location with some fabulous restaurants on the doorstep/ seashore! The house itself was clean and comfortable with everything we needed to make a pleasant stay with a young toddler. We really appreciated Lila waiting in the house to welcome us despite our flight being late at night and delayed. A great stay!

My husband and I rented Lila's house for 5 nights with the idea of using it as a base to explore. We had with us our 3 kids, ages 17,19 & 21. Sa Tuna and its surroundings are so beautiful that we hardly wanted to leave at all! We spent hours on the hiking trails, which are BEAUTIFUL - especially the one along the sea to the left, enjoyed the small town, and love going into Begur in the evenings. As someone else mentioned, the kitchen is basic, and there are Mosquitos, but the simplicity of it was very refreshing for us. Lila is a wonderfully responsive and accommodating hostess, and I appreciated that very much since we were coming from so far away. I would recommend Lila's home to my friends, and hope to return one day ... We will remember it forever.
