Artsy 1 bedroom apartment in a Creole Cottage located on the banks of the Mississippi River and featured in Gambit Home & Style Magazine. Perfect for couples and solo travellers who want to experience the city as a local. Built in 1910 and once used as a tattoo parlor, the home boasts a creative NOLA history. We live on the other half of the double with our dog Krewe, so here to answer any questions.

The space
PRIVATE apartment with your own entrance and outdoor deck. Large bedroom with a queen-sized bed, living space, kitchenette, tv, and a private bathroom with bathtub and shower. Includes free street parking. We are right next door to a lively wine and jazz bar called Bacchanal where there is live music every night that stops at 10pm.

To Open Door...enter last the 4 digits of the guest who booked phone number, rotate to the left.
To Lock Door When Leaving...press Schlage button on the top of the keypad and rotate to the right
Other things to note
Being right along the riverfront there are active tugboats, barges and an active railway with trains that can be noisy anytime day or night. Just part of Bywater living. :)
The trains are very unpredictable and can be none at all or all throughout the night. They run all thru New Orleans along the river, so us locals have learned to adapt as a way of life but light sleepers may want to look elsewhere.
