The Space

This Studio Apartment is recommended for couples and friends who value privacy and central location at an affordable price without compromising comfort.

At 26m2 this studio apartment resembles a small hotel room with the added benefits of a kitchen. It is located in a very clean and well maintained building with a unique "Garden Entrance" in a vibrant part of the city centre (7 minutes walk to Las Ramblas).

This studio apartment has a kitchen with everything you need to prepare simple meals using fresh ingredients from the Sant Antoni market at your doorstep (or the Boqueria market a 4 minute walk away), there is also a microwave to make a quick meal. It also has a private bathroom with a spacious shower. There is a seperate room with a washing machine and where you can hang up your clothes, this room is shared with 4 other studio's/suites.

Just steps away is the renowned meeting place Els Tres Tombs- an excellent spot for Tapas accompanied by a glass of locally brewed Moritz beer. With Ronda Sant Antoni at your doorstep, La Rambla a short walk away and the increasingly trendy and multicultural neighborhood of El Raval around the corner, Sant Antoni is a convenient and exciting place to stay.

  • It was very nice to stay in this studio in Barcelona. Luca is a great host. It was very easy to contact him and fix the booking. The studio is situated at a great place. Nearby public transport and the Rambla. The studio is not spacious, but it has everything you need. I like the convenient of the kitchen. It´s not big, but it´s really fine to make some tea/ coffee or breakfast.

Tutto perfetto!

We have spent some wonderful days in Barcelona and we must thank also Luke, who has been a very kind host. He has helped us from the beginning to find the flat e he has received us suggesting us some places to visit and to eat. The apartament in like you see in the photo and very clean. It is located in center of the town and very close to the metro. Everythin perfect.

  • Great place with everything you need! Location was fantastic right next to a metro and the markets. Internet doesn't reach to all parts of the room but still a nice stay!

  • Summary: Fantastic location, clean and tidy, great service, everything you need.

We had a great time staying at this apartment!
Although the apartment is compact, it has everything you need (low street noise, working air conditioning, kitchen etc.).
The pre-arrival management by the team and the welcome by Luke was fantastic, he sat down with us and gave us great advice on where to eat and what sights to see during our visit.

The apartment is in a great location, 10 minutes walk from the Aerobus stop, 10 minutes walk from La Rambla, 50m from the subway line (L2) which takes you into the town centre or directly to Sagrada Família. 100m from the bus stop from which you can take the number 64 to the beach or the number 24 up to Park Guell or the two Gaudi appartments (La Pedrera & Casa Batllo).

Would definitely consider staying here again if we return to Barcelona (Which we will!).

  • Good position, the flat was small but nice. Luke is very kind.

  • The location for this apartment is great for the metro, airport bus, and Montjuic. The street you walk from there to Las Ramblas is a little sketchy. Also, there is no elevator to the apartment, which isn't actually a single apartment, but a few private studios within an apartment. Overall it was very satisfactory, especially for the price and location.

However, I had to use an eye mask and a white noise app on my phone to sleep well. Please keep in mind that this is a budget stay so you'll need your own garbage bags and toilet paper.

  • After some concern about not being able to get a hold of Luke, everything turned out fine. Room is relatively clean and in a great location. My only problem was the noise and trouble I had sleeping. The neighbourhood is central - close to markets, stores, cafes, metros - which is great but also very noisy until late at night. I'm a light sleeper so that afftected me.

  • We had an perfect time in a nice studio, at a great location. The owner (Luke) was very helpfull and hospitable, he gave us lots of (restaurant)tips. Because of our late flight home, we could leave our luggage at his place. Excellent stay!

  • Overall, Luke and Alex were great. Luke was very responsive via email, and upon our arrival in Barcelona, Luke responded to my text and voice call. When we arrived, Alex met us at the street and helped us to the room. Alex showed us how all of the doors/keys worked as well as provided some helpful tourist information regarding Barcelona. Interacting with Luke and Alex was wonderful.

The studio, for the most part, was as advertised. The location was great. The apartment was within walking distance to Las Ramblas and was located right next to the St. Antoni metro stop. Getting to and from to the metro was very very easy. Moreover, since the apartment is very close to the Metro stop, it was easy to tell cab drivers where to drop you off (no need to try and tell them a specific address). There were several shops and restaurants nearby (I was even able to find a store that sold a phone charger for the phone that I had).

The apartment had plenty of nice and useful amenities. The studio apartment had an iron and ironing board (many hotels in Europe do not have even an iron and ironing board for each room), small kitchenette, dishes, small dining table, small fridge, etc. There was also plenty of outlets for charging electronic devices. There was an elevator that we used to help us get our luggage up to the room (but there is one flight of stairs to get to the elevator).

The only issue I had with the apartment was the lack of hot water. The hot water never lasted longer than about 5 min. Thus, it was difficult for one person, let alone 2, to take a hot shower. It didn't matter when we took a shower (early int he morning, at night, etc.). To be fair, we did not complain to Luke or Alex, so maybe something could have been done while we were there. We just managed instead of wasting time trying to see about getting the issue address. I am not sure if all of the apartments on that level share a water heater or something. I wish I could give a higher rating but the lack of hot water was somewhat unpleasant.
