Jim and Yvonne were lovely caring hosts who made us feel at home from the beginning. Feeding us tips and tricks of the surroundings e.g. canoeing, biking, lokal pubs, lokal food markets, our stay was exceptionally good. We loved the fireplace in the living room.

Lovely cottage, very smooth communication with Jim and Yvonne, very helpful when we arrived.
Beautiful cottage on private wooded location on the Bandon river. Hosts were very helpful and got a fishing rod for our boys to use on the river. Well equipped cottage with full kitchen great and a washer dryer in a separate room.
Jim, Yvonne and family were wonderful, helpful and generous, which was much appreciated. The house was clean and cosy, and had everything we needed, and ample space. The location is stunning, the river was beautiful and easily accessible. The photos on the listing don't do it justice! I would highly recommend having a car whilst staying here as the walk down to the village is difficult, but it is far from impossible and can be done. We had a wonderful time and can't thank Jim and Yvonne enough.
Absolutely lovely people. Made us feel not only welcome but also well-cared for.
Clean, well equipped cottage. Classy and comfortable. Wonderful kitchen. Excellent reading material from a collection of famous Irish speeches to bird guide to delightful children's books. Best shower in all of our three weeks in Ireland.
We were glad that we took them up on their offer of their canoe. Just pay attention to the tides moving in & out of the river.
If they had had vacancies, we would have extended our stay.
