Update: We have decorated our Kitchen with a Tiki Bar theme!
We love LOS FELIZ. It's a young, hip, chic neighborhood with a great restaurants, bars, and our favorite movie theatre. Access to the Metro red line is less than a mile from our apartment, and from there it's three stops to Hollywood and Highland station where you'll find Mann's Chinese Theatre, the El Capitan Theatre, the Wax Museum and the great tourist world. You can get to one of our favorite spots, the Griffith Observatory, by catching a short trolly ride two blocks from our apartment on the weekends.
Our apartment is airy and light with hardwood floors throughout. The building was built in the late 20s, but it was completely renovated in May of 2010 with new fixtures and amenities.

-Morgan and Christina
We have a cat, and it would be great if he could stay with you while you are here. Just put some food on the floor for him and he'll be fine.
We don't ask a cleaning fee. We just ask that you leave things the way you find it.
We don't ask a security deposit. We ask that you be responsible for things if you break them. Not dishes and glasses, but bigger things.
Unfortunately we had some conflicts at the last minute and were unable to use the AirBnB we had rented. However, the initial contact and subsequent dealings with Morgan were cordial and pleasant. They worked diligently to accommodate our initial request. Should we have need to visit LA in the future, we will definitely request accommodation at their BnB.
Morgan and Christina were very welcoming! This was my first Airbnb stay, and I am so happy to have chosen this listing. I can't recommend it enough.
They left tasty snacks and drinks along with a note that had helpful instructions and general guidelines for us. This note answered most of the questions I had when first arriving, so I did not need to contact the host as much as I had originally thought, but I always knew if I needed something Morgan was a call or text away.
Their home was very clean, bright, and full of character. I felt at ease and safe during the entire stay. The foam mattress on the bed is amazingly comfortable, and I was actually able to sleep in because of it.
Sosuke the cat is a very charming feline. Having him around helped us feel more at home. He cuddled and slept next to us in the bed and on the couch, so if you sleep better with a cat snuggled up next to you, this is the place to stay at! He does like to hover around the back and front door if he knows you're there, so be careful of him trying to make an escape. Like most cats, he will want attention and will wake you up in the morning to be fed if he is hungry, but if you have a cat of your own this should not be anything new. Sosuke was a very friendly kitty and we enjoyed keeping him happy. We miss him very much!
Los Feliz is a fantastic neighborhood. It's quiet but still in walking distance of coffee shops, restaurants, and quirky little shops. We felt very safe walking around in the evening. If you're looking for a tasty breakfast, check out Cafe Los Feliz, we loved their breakfast sandwich on a croissant.
We did not rent a car for this trip, so parking was never an issue for us. This listing is very close to the Bob Hope airport, so that is a huge plus if you're not arriving or departing at LAX. We used Uber to get to our destinations and it only took 15-20 min to get to Little Tokyo and downtown Burbank which did not cost nearly as much as we expected.
Morgan and Christina responded quickly and efficiently to all my messages that I sent. We did not have to contact each other too often, but I knew they were available if any questions or emergencies popped up.
Overall, our stay at the apartment on Finley was amazing and I hope to stay here again for future trips to LA!
Morgan and Christina were extremely helpful and sweet. When we asked for some restaurant recommendations Morgan got back to us right away giving us an entire list of restaurants that were known in the area. We loved their apartment and enjoyed spending time with their cat Sosuke. In addition to their great home, the neighbourhood is amazing! Bars, Restaurants, Shops are all in walking distance. Their location is unbeatable! If you love LA but dont like being in such a fast paced environment but still would like to enjoy the scene; then the apartment on Finley is right for you! We appreciated their attentiveness to us and how comfortable they made us feel in their home.
The apartment was lovely, spacious and comfortable. However, it's the location that is the real selling point. Easy walk to a number of good restaurants, bars and shops. We had a fantastic time exploring this new to us neighbourhood. Although we never met Morgan as he was travelling, he provided helpful tips on where to go.
Street parking was never an issue. Sosuke was also very welcoming and friendly! We'd definitely stay here again without hesitation.
This apartment is very nicely decorated, and really, in a great area of town. It's right in the center of a great neighborhood, and walking distance to shops, coffee, groceries, public transportation. It's also close to Griffith Park and lots of other fun things to see in the LA area. The bed is comfortable, and we were really happy to have wifi and a computer to look up what we were doing next.
I hate to say anything bad, but we did have a couple of issues. Sosuke was a very nice and friendly kitty, but woke me up early both mornings to be fed. (I don't mind being woken up by my own cat to be fed in the morning, but on vacation… - well, actually I do mind being woken up by my own cat, but I can just tolerate that better). Sosuke was also very aggressive about getting into any food that is left attended for any amount of time. I also unfortunately have some dust allergies, which were really kicking up by the second/last morning of our stay. A quick vacuum around windowsills and floorboards would probably clear that right up.
We really enjoyed our 3 nights in Los Feliz. The apartment has a perfect location with walking distance to coffee shops and hip boutiques. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. The flat is spacious and cozy. We would highly recommend to stay here!
