Meadow Cottage is located within a private estate. This newly refurbished property boasts character and since being renovated it consists of a perfectly blended modern twist.

Thoresby Park, courtyard, museum and Gallery is located in the private Country Estate of Thoresby in the heart of Sherwood Forest. Within the Grade 2 listed 18th Century Courtyard, only 10 minutes walk away, is a host of boutique shops and cycle hire along with the renowned Bay Tree Cafe and with the Queens Royal Lancers Military Museum. After a coffee stroll around the acres of parkland and woods, on our easy walking and cycling trails taking in the beauty of the ancient Sherwood Forest oak trees and the wildlife that call it home. Or visit on one of our many event days or book your own private event in our dedicated event space. We look forward to welcoming you to Thoresby very soon.

During your stay at Meadow Cottage experience the beautiful and ancient art of falconry. The birds are there just for you. The experience includes of a wide range of raptors, from Hawkeye Falconry’s collection of Owls, Hawks, Falcons and Eagles. Fly them yourselves in the beautiful surroundings, under expert guidance - from the graceful Owls to the speed merchants that are the Falcons. This is an experience not to be missed and is perfect for birthdays, family get-togethers or for any excuse!
