In a very old building - apparently a monastery back in time - resulting from the urban stratification of historical periods (16th to 20th century), you will find yourself in a fully renovated, all-white design loft in the old city center of the artistic, worldwide know town of Carrara (Tuscany, Italy). 2 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms, every space and piece of furniture has been carefully thought, with many pieces of contemporary design and others coming from our travels all over the world.

The space
You will therefore enter from the small courtyard that you will find on your left once you have entered into the building. The access (and therefore the keys) to the gated area to reach the apartment is limited to three apartments but only mine has the main entrance there.

The kitchen is an open space with the living. It is an induction kitchen (no gas in the kitchen) and only works with dedicated pots which you will find them in the kitchen drawers.

From the living room and from the mater bedroom you can access the main bathroom. When you are in the main bathroom, you will see a main door. That door leads outside. The washing machine accessible from that door as it is in a small locked room immediately outside the apartment.

The second room, which has a library and a single bed, has en-suite bathroom. However, as it is not yet finished, it is not in the listing. You are still welcome to utilise it as the toilet and bidet are fully functioning and so is the brain new shower.

Please consider that in the house there are curtains only in the master bedroom, however, all windows have shutters. Also please consider that there is no elevator and there are stairs to access the apartment. The apartment is strictly smoke-free and no shoes are allowed anywhere in the apartment with the exception of the entrance.

This neighborhood is in the historical part of Carrara. You will get out of the building, and taking a left downhill you will find yourself crossing a little bridge. You are crossing over the Carrione river and immediately on the other side you will find yourself in the most beautiful square of Carrara, piazza Alberica, also considered one of the most beautiful squares in Italy.
This is the historical centre of Carrara. Wondering around you will find the Duomo, piazza delle Erbe, and the pedestrian via Roma. You can enjoy the town of Carrara just walking, with no need to take your car, with the exception, of course, when you are heading to the marble quarries! Many art galleries have recently opened and the town is becoming more and more lively while continuing to attract tourists from all over the world for its white marble.
