The Space

The apartment is miticulously clean. You will find a mix of contemporary furnitures with chinese and arabic flares. Although the space is designed for 1 couple, we have arranged the den for two additional person. The area is safe and yields access to many important venues of the city such as the Old Montreal, the Gay Village, and Jean-Drapeau park.

Guest Access

Guests have access to everything available in the apartment.

Interaction with Guests

I will be greeting you in person if possible. I won't stay with you but I do respond to emergencies within our abilities.

All informations are within the house rule and access procedures, please fully read these document prior to check in.

The Neighborhood

This corner of Montreal is quite the center of everything. Been close to the Jean-Drapean park, guests can easily access LaRonde, Casino de Montreal, the Biosphere, and festivities on the island such as Formula 1, Dragon boat, Osheaga, and many more. You can take a walk into the Old Montreal directly from the apartment, where fireworks and igloofest occurs during winter week-ends. Each pier have special venues such as the science museum, the labyrinth, Bonsecours Terrasse, and many local cruise access. The Old port area is filled with enchantements of the past make sure you visit Pointe a Calliere Museum to discover the history of Montreal. Across the highway you will find the gay village. Needless to say, that distrinct is filled with daytime activities and Sainte-Catherine street is closed off between Beri and Papineau during summer for pedestrians, allowing you to slowly and meticulously explore the village. You will find drag shows and trendy clubs packed with people especially on a Friday or Saturday night.

A slow walk ton Sainte-Catherine to the west will take you right into the Spectacle District. You will find concert performances by the symphonic orchestra of Montreal. A little south from there is the chinatown: great food at great prices.

I would recommend the use of public transit or your personal transportations for visits to further hotspots such as the Olympic stadium area, crescent street, or the mount-royal.

Getting Around

Near the apartment building is a bus stop for #30. It will take you to the Berri-UQAM station where the green-orange-yellow metro lines cross. Use the bus timetable or stm web site to figure out the exact time of the bus departure as it doesn't go by very often. The apartment is within walking distance of 3 metro stations. Access to the public transit requires 1 ticket for bus-metro-bus transit. 3.25$ for adult and 2.25$ for children. But the best way is to purchase a tourist pass or weekly pass at the metro station.

Other Things to Note

Please don't be offended if I refuse your request based the following requirements if missing: Verified real ID, clear picture of yourself, and a description of yourself and other guests staying with you. I am resentful of underaged guests without positive comments.

House Rules

Treat it as your own house and if everything belong to you. I keep everything clean as much as possible so I would appreciate not having my dining table scratched or my couch ripped. If you wear dark colored jeans, please refrain from rubbing on the white leather surface, its practically impossible to remove those dye stains; I would not hesitate to make the remarks if it happens.

Zero tolerance for parties and loud noises; guests will be evicted without prior notice and without refund.

If you have questions or problems with electro-appliances, contact me as soon as possible so I can find a solution to the problem ASAP.

Do not use the thermostat in the living room, they aren't located in an efficient position and burns the couch. Use the electric fireplace below the television.

There is no smoking allowed inside the apartment, a balcony is available for such purpose.

No pets please, I would like to keep the floor and furniture free of prints and scratches.

No outdoor shoes inside, I will have slippers prepared for guests.

No online purchases with my account while using the entertainment system. Netflix is available to guests. But I sincerely hope you didn't come to Montreal to watch TV.

Clean towels are inside the bedroom closets or in the dryer. Please put dirty towels in the basket inside the small closet in the dining room.

I prefer guests to use the recycling bin inside the cabinet below the microwave. You can toss packaging or anything non-biological into the box, it is easier to manage than a garbage bag filled with 1 pizza box.

Please throw away left-over take outs to avoid odors in the refrigerator.

I do not charge cleaning fees and therefore I expect guests to keep the apartment clean when they check out.
