This is an ideal place for exploring Rome and starting to know its evreyday life and uncomparable inhabitants. Located in the very middle of Trastevere- the pop, snazzy, art, melting pot Rione of Rome, famous for the narrow lanes and the little, lovely squares, the apartment in the courtyard of a beautiful building of XVII sec. comes with all the necessary for a wonderful stay in Rome. 1 big loft bedroom, 1 fully equipped kitchen, 1 big bathroom and a wide living room the house can accomodate up to 4 people. Sheets, towels etc included. Free internet access is provided for your convenience. All modes of transport, tram, train, bus, city bike, taxi rank are within walking distance.
The ceiling and the walls are decorated with beautiful frescoes and in the middle of the living room shows up a beautiful, original Vespa directly from 60's.
The apartment is very quiet and silent in spite of his location in Via del Moro, very lively street of Trastevere. a plenty of bars, restaurants, patisserie, boutiques and artisans shops are located in the surroundings and you will meet every kind of intersting people just walking on the streets.
Moreover, I'm from Rome and I would be glad to give you my suggestions to enjoy your holiday
Hope to welcome you soon!
Please, no much noise in the courtyard and in the house

As others have mentioned, this apartment was well located in Trastevere, 2 minutes from a lively square, with many restaurants in the ear vicinity. It was a slightly longer walk to many of the standard sights, as you must cross the Tibor, but that wasn't a problem for us.
As the apartment is located in a courtyard and has only a few windows, it was remarkably quiet considering it's so close to the action.
It had great working wifi, and our hosts provided a nice fruit basket when we arrived.
They also arranged for a driver to pick us up at the airport. It was a rather chaotic meetup, as many many drivers were there and we couldn't find ours for some time. Germana (our host's representative) was very helpful in getting us synced up.
All in all, a very enjoyable locale, we recommend it!
We had a great stay in Maria's flat in Trastevere. Maria had one of her associates meet us at the flat to let us in, show us around and make sure we didn't need anything. The flat is very well equipped and has a ton of space for 2 people. The best part of the flat is the location! While it is about a 30 minute walk to most of the major attractions(Vatican City, Colosseum, etc.), the neighborhood of Trastevere is wonderful. The flat is centrally located and is a short walk to many shops and great restaurants/bars. I would highly recommend Maria's flat and I would highly recommend staying in Trastevere during your next trip to Rome.
Perfect location in the bustling heart of Trastevere. More bars, osterias, trattorias, and gelaterias than you could ever visit. All within a 5 minute walk. Short trip across the river puts you Old Rome or Colosseo.
Make sure to do your shopping at the San Cosimato street market just a short walk away. And grab some bread from La Renella a few doors down.
Hosts were very accommodating. Our flight was redirected to Pescara due to thunderstorms in Rome putting us 4 hours behind schedule. Mr. Riccardo met us at 11:30PM to do the walk through and hand over the keys. All without complaint. Maria answered any questions we had very quickly via email.
Apartment is perfectly located with the Vatican to the left, Piazza Novanno straight up and the Coliseum to the right (call it 20mins each way). Apt is very clean and cool looking in an old building-ground floor. We didn't need the air at all with the windows open. Maria was very responsive before, at arrival and during the stay-thk u maria-she even arranged a car to go back to the airport (given where the apt is, it makes more sense). We enjoyed our stay and had all the amenities we needed. The neighborhood is fantastic with a ton of restos and a Conda supermarket right nearby (on Travstevere blvd). We felt like a "local". perfect place to crash after a long day of exploring. Internet worked fine. The only thing i would say after reading other comments is that it is an older building so there are creaks, it can get loud given people wandering by the alley (only was loud 1 night) and there is a steeper ladder/steps to get to the loft bedroom so people with some mobility challenges might find it difficult. Great place to have fun-enjoy.
What a wonderful experience ! :)
The place is awesome. The apartment is awesome.
Emiliano is a great person, really helpful and comprehensive.
As such, we just had 3 extraordinary days in Roma.
