The Space

This is an ideal place for exploring Rome and starting to know its evreyday life and uncomparable inhabitants. Located in the very middle of Trastevere- the pop, snazzy, art, melting pot Rione of Rome, famous for the narrow lanes and the little, lovely squares, the apartment in the courtyard of a beautiful building of XVII sec. comes with all the necessary for a wonderful stay in Rome. 1 big loft bedroom, 1 fully equipped kitchen, 1 big bathroom and a wide living room the house can accomodate up to 4 people. Sheets, towels etc included. Free internet access is provided for your convenience. All modes of transport, tram, train, bus, city bike, taxi rank are within walking distance.
The ceiling and the walls are decorated with beautiful frescoes and in the middle of the living room shows up a beautiful, original Vespa directly from 60's.
The apartment is very quiet and silent in spite of his location in Via del Moro, very lively street of Trastevere. a plenty of bars, restaurants, patisserie, boutiques and artisans shops are located in the surroundings and you will meet every kind of intersting people just walking on the streets.
Moreover, I'm from Rome and I would be glad to give you my suggestions to enjoy your holiday
Hope to welcome you soon!

  • Apartment is perfectly located with the Vatican to the left, Piazza Novanno straight up and the Coliseum to the right (call it 20mins each way). Apt is very clean and cool looking in an old building-ground floor. We didn't need the air at all with the windows open. Maria was very responsive before, at arrival and during the stay-thk u maria-she even arranged a car to go back to the airport (given where the apt is, it makes more sense). We enjoyed our stay and had all the amenities we needed. The neighborhood is fantastic with a ton of restos and a Conda supermarket right nearby (on Travstevere blvd). We felt like a "local". perfect place to crash after a long day of exploring. Internet worked fine. The only thing i would say after reading other comments is that it is an older building so there are creaks, it can get loud given people wandering by the alley (only was loud 1 night) and there is a steeper ladder/steps to get to the loft bedroom so people with some mobility challenges might find it difficult. Great place to have fun-enjoy.

  • What a wonderful experience ! :)
The place is awesome. The apartment is awesome.
Emiliano is a great person, really helpful and comprehensive.

As such, we just had 3 extraordinary days in Roma.

  • I strongly recommend this dwelling in Rome. The location is one of a kind as one is in a 20 minutes walking distance from nearly all parts of Monumental Rome. The Loft is functional and accessable and (email hidden) to wake up in embrace a new day.

  • The art loft is a very beautiful apartment, we really enjoyed it. Although Rome can be quite noisy and busy, we did not experience this in the apartment. It is very quiet. Also the fact it is located in Trastevere is a big plus, according to us this is one of the best places for your stay in Rome, everything is in walking distance and you will find the best restaurants and bars in Trastevere. Just cross the Ponte Sisto and you are on the other side of the Tiber. For breakfast there is are great bakery around the corner. Emiliano is a great guy, he will provide you with all the information you need. Also, if you have any questions during your stay he will be reachable for advice. We highly recommend this place!

  • This apartment was absolutely perfect for us. Located in Trastevere, one of Rome's most beautiful and romantic neighbourhoods, the flat is a very short walk to either the Sisto Bridge (Ponte Sisto) or to tramway route #8; it is easy and quick to get practically anywhere in Rome from here. Our visit was during a very hot spell in Rome and the apartment was cool and very comfortable, a welcome respite from the heat. The air conditioner works very well, but the stone walls of the building seem to keep it comfortably cool even without the air conditioner. The bed was very comfortable and the apartment complex is very quiet - no noise from the street came into the apartment, even if the windows were open. The apartment is on the ground floor and so there were no stairs to climb. I would recommend this apartment to anyone, and we would stay here again. Emiliano, our host, responded quickly and was a very nice host who made himself available for anything we might have needed.

  • Emiliano (email hidden)e properties he manages are beautiful and unique, and if there is a problem, he responds immediately and sorts it out straight away. I will absolutely stay in one of his properties again when I return to Rome. Thanks Emiliano!

  • It was a great stay for us, Emiliano (email hidden), very kind, and his appartment is the place to be to visit Rome! Delicious, romantic, in the heart of town. Very clean, very sweet, absolutely perfect for us.

  • Location is just perfect and apartment is very nice! Only disadvantage is that apartment is moldy :(

  • Emiliano is a very attentive and nice host, he has welcomed us even if we arrived in Rome very late; ask him anything you need to know about Rome, he will surely help you! The apartment is very central and in a super nice area of Rome, on a walking distance to many attractions (we never took a bus or taxi a part from getting from/to the airport), even though the bathroom has no aeration and gets very humid after the shower + the kitchen has old dingy furniture, not keeping up with the rest of the apartment, which is very nice and neat.

  • Emiliano is a super nice guy and very available if you have any needs while in Rome. I would definitely stay at another one of his places where he's accommodated more guests, so you can see more comments on the properties. However, it's pretty obvious the art loft's not used that often. The bathroom has very little aeration, so it smells easily and was not that clean when we arrived. The hot water balloon is small so if two people are staying here, you have to take VERY quick showers. Also, the apartment gets stuffy and has a lot of mosquitos (bring Skintastic). On the other hand, the apartment's location is very central -- perfect for tourists. The bed's comfy and the place looks just like it does on its listing. Besides the bathroom we were overall happy with the apartment. It's just priced too high -- should be under 100 euros per night.
