I'm currently a writer and sculpture, a northern lass who always longed to move back to the countryside of my earliest years and felt I needed to move south to warmer climes. Etchingham is ideal it has easy access to London via the nearby train station. We have our own woodland and extensive garden, swimming pool, small lake and stream and wonderful neighbours. It is on the Kent Sussex borders within easy access of the coast and so many gorgeous places to visit, though I am so in love with where I live that I don't often go too far. Skinny dipping on Winchelsea beach early one morning was fun though! I am a Psychology/Sociology graduate. I worked in Sales and Marketing at Ford and trained and practised as a psychotherapist for 10 years. I also ran a schools inspection service for Ofsted for six years. I lived in Brighton where I have lovely friends (50 mins away) and taught sculpture there. I am a raw fooder and veggie personally and can offer retreats along these lines but I welcome guests who are more interested in conventional diets. I like to make everyone as welcome and at home as possible and once I know that they have all the information and things that they need I leave them to their privacy to enjoy their stay. I have given a lift, got a bike repaired on a Sunday morning to prevent a holiday being spoilt, taken lone guests on walks and visits, set up an extra desk for someone who needed to study for an exam while they were here etc etc.
