The hosts were great! We didn't spend much time there since our visit was filled with activities with friends and family. Their home was located near a lot of great areas and things to do! The room was exactly how it was pictures and described. Very clean home. Overall we were satisfied and would stay again!
The house was very clean and in a safe neighbourhood, great location - only minutes to the next mall and university. Whenever I asked the hosts for help they were always helpful and I got to meet one of their daughters. Very lovely. They took me places and introduced me to new people.
Even though they were friendly, I also felt like they were overly observant whenever we were in the kitchen or anywhere else. They have their routine and it's important for them that the guests adjust to it. Also I believe they can monitor when the guests come and go which I was not a fan of - I guess that's for security.
We really enjoyed Ellen's stay with us and thank her for the feedback. Regarding security, for the safety and well-being of our guests, we have a modern security system and we have found that most guests appreciate the peace of mind that this brings. Regarding the kitchen, unfortunately California is going through a very serious drought, which requires us to be extra cognizant with our water usage. We have adopted water saving techniques in our kitchen, to help with the crisis.
I had a wonderful time staying in this beautiful home nestled in the hills of San Elijo. Al, Sheila and their daughter Keziah were very gracious and provided five star service from beginning to end. The room I stayed in was comfortable and well-appointed with all the amenities one would find at a top-tier hotel. Whenever I'm back in town I hope they have availability because I will try to stay there again!
I will start of by saying it was a perfect place to relax after a LONG day at work, their home is beautiful, the views are amazing, the room was very clean and very comfortable, I liked that the bathroom was in my room, enjoyed the many baths I took after a long day at work, I was able to keep my food in the mini refrigerator, it was important to Sheila to make sure I was comfortable, that I appreciated!!!! I would highly recommend this place to anyone interested.....
Sheila was very helpful in every way. Just as her daughter Keziah was. It was my first airbnb experience so I was a little nervous but my hosts were very patient and kind with all my questions. I hope all my airbnb stays will be as pleasant.
This room is just amazing, fantastic view, fanstastic bed, fantastic host.
My stay was lovely. The room was very comfortable with an amazing view. The host family are great people, and they made me feel very comfortable.
