I'm a repeat guest at Ying and Sherry's place and have found each stay to be relaxing and enjoyable. I have frequent trips out to Palo Alto for work and I find their accommodations to be my go-to spot. Great place to stay for peace and quiet.

Ying & Sherry were accommodative hosts on my last-minute request. They have a large home in Palo Alto with multiple rooms that they make available. The neighborhood is nice & safe. The large bathroom is probably the nicest I've seen in a similarly priced Airbnb space. The room I stayed in was reasonably large, and while it clearly had been their daughter's before she left for college, the private entrance made up for any cognitive dissonance I experienced as I crashed in a teenage girl's room :)

Ying and Serry were great hosts. I was a bit put off when, at my arrival, I learned that the room that I had chosen was not available and Sherry drove me to her parents' house, which is very different to what I had chosen. However, when I told Sherry that I wasn't satisfied by the situation, she quickly called the plumber and I was back to my original choice after 3 nights. After that everything went very smoothly. The house is beautiful, has a very nice family atmosphere. You only need to be aware that the house rules will prevent you from doing any kind of noice before 7:45. I had scrum meetings in the East Coast at 7am every morning so it was a bit of a bummer for me.
