Hello, My name is Jan Hou.
I have been living in Penghu, Taiwan for more than 10 years.
Before moving here, I had studies in the US (Ph.D. from University of Texas), worked as engineer, manager in Hsinchu Science Industrial Park (HSIP).
I enjoys nature, sports and travelling. My passion is windsurfing and kitesurfing.
Penghu is a very windy place and this is the reason why I moved here in 2003. I am a professor at National Penghu University. After teaching, I usually spend time on the water, kitesurfing or windsurfing in the winter, swimming, snorkeling or kayaking in the summer.
You are welcome to stay at my BnB and enjoy all the water sports with me.
If you are not into water sports, you can enjoy sight-seeing on a scooter, trotting to off-shore islands or cycling on wide open roads in Penghu. There are ton of interesting activities you can engage yourself here. Please spend at least 3 days on the island to relax yourself from the hustle and bustle of the big cities.
