We've spent wonderful sunny days in Alicante and in the balcony of the appartment. The appartment have everything what you need, wireless internet, full equiped kitchen... In every room there is a little heater, but in Alicante normally you dont need it at all, we had 21ºC these days.
The appartment its really in the city center of Alicante, just 5 min walk down the main street you can find Mercado Central, Mercadona (supermarket), shops, restaurants... The beach its just 1km down the old town, or 10 min walk.
You can find also the bus stop for the airport C6 100mts from the building.
Chus and Macu are very friendly and give us a lot of information about Alicante. We will come back soon and stay at the same appartment if still available.
Thanks a lot.
Just ok?! A great location with easy access to the city and all it's attractions. Great view of the castle from the bedroom balcony... But... The apartment was freezing cold! Granted, it is November, but we hoped to save some money by cooking for ourselves, but the prospect of staying in for an evening without any heating was impossible. The tv didn't work well and kept cutting out of reception. Also, we didn't get any info/advice on the local area/amenities, which many hosts leave, and makes life a lot easier. It is a good size, and parking outside is useful (although very busy during the day). Would be ideal for backpackers out to explore, as somewhere to rest their head, and would probably be very different in the warmer months! In summary.... We didn't feel the usual airbnb love!
Unfortunately not good experience - bedrooms very noisy and had to move mattress into sittingroom - also only for the very fit as steep hill from town centre up to apartment and then up four storeys of double staircase put us off returning to apartment during the day. Apartment itself just ok.
We really enjoyed our stay and felt right at home! Clean, spacious apartment in a great location, close to the market, supermarket, shops/bars/restaurants, tram and airport bus stops; easy to get to the beach as well. Lots of maps and tourist info available in the apartment that made it easy to plan what to see and do. Would definitely stay here again if we come back to Alicante!
Great place! We extended our stay and really enjoyed it. Clean, good amenities, good location.
The apartment was exactly what we wanted! Great location - a 5 minute walk to the casco antiguo and port where most of the social/night life is. Apartment was very clean, had washer and dryer, and great storage for those with extended stays. Suitable parking in an empty lot across the street from the apt building. Enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend for groups up to 4 or 5 or small families. It's located on the 5th floor (Spanish 4th) so beware if you have trouble getting up steps (no elevator) which for us was not a problem. Great place overall!
A very convenient and comfortable apartment in Alicante. Plenty of space and a short walk to the nightlife, beaches and history of the city with a great view of the castle from the balcony. Highly recommended.
Had a great stay here last week. The apartment was clean, well equipped and had it's own balcony as well as a great view of the citry out back. Despite a little difficulty in communication on our part - speaking very little spanish and not setting our phones up for travel! - we were met on time and left to our own devices. Great location, reallly close to old town and beach, if you haven't been to Alicante before go - its a world away from the horrors of Benidorm and a perfect base to explore this beautiful part of spain. Would stay here again.
This apartment is located perfectly for access to the center, stores, and places to eat. It was clean when we arrived, and was the perfect amount of space for 3 people. It's a great place to stay to see the castle and enjoy the center in Alicante!
