Super bright, bright 3-room-old apartment on the 3rd floor (top floor) in the popular Eimsbüttel district (Hoheluft-West / Generalsviertel) Location: Eimsbüttel is a flourishing and centrally located, yet quiet and green district. The 73 square meter apartment is located in a quiet side street. From here, there are regular, short bus and train connections to popular districts like St. Pauli or Schanzenviertel (U3 or bus 181), downtown and Univiertel (bus 5), as well as Altona (Ottensen) and Eppendorf (bus 20/25). This gives all around very good shopping. Nice restaurants, program cinema, pubs, bakers, supermarket and beautiful parks are nearby. There is also a bicycle rental station around the corner (5min walk) and the ski jumping is only 10min along the idyllic Isebek canal. To the apartment: The old building is on the 3rd floor and has everywhere nice, newly ground floorboards (except the bath). Through the spacious windows, it is bright and quiet as the house is situated in a one-way street. To the bedroom 1 borders a balcony. Both bedrooms have a double bed (140x200). In the kitchen there is a beautiful, old wooden table and offers a comfortable seating for 4 people. The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, oven, sink, toaster, coffee machine and washing machine (storage room adjoining kitchen). The bathroom has a spacious tub and a shower. The toilet is extra. All in all, our apartment is furnished with great attention to detail, so that you can definitely feel at home as a guest. Von hier aus gibt es regelmäßige, kurze Bus- und Bahnanbindungen zu beliebten Vierteln wie St. Pauli oder Schanzenviertel (U3 oder Bus 181), Innenstadt und Univiertel (Bus 5), sowie Altona (Ottensen) und Eppendorf (Bus 20/25). Zur Wohnung:

Die Altbauwohnung liegt im 3. OG und hat überall schöne, neu abgeschliffene Dielen (mit Ausnahme des Bades). Durch die großzügigen Fenster ist sie hell und ruhig, da das Haus in einer Einbahnstraße liegt. An das Schlafzimmer 1 grenzt ein Balkon. Beide Schlafzimmer sind mit je einem Doppelbett (140x200) ausgestattet. In der Küche steht ein schöner, alter Holztisch und bietet somit eine gemütliche Sitzgelegenheit für 4 Personen. Die Küche ist mit einem Gasherd, Backofen, Spüle, Toaster, Kaffeemaschine und Waschmaschine (Abstellkammer angrenzend an Küche) ausgestattet. Das Badezimmer hat eine großzügige Wanne und eine Duschvorrichtung. Das WC ist extra.
Insgesamt ist unsere Wohnung mit viel Liebe zum Detail ausgestattet, so dass man sich auf jeden Fall auch als Gast wie zuhause fühlen kann.

This is a living house, and I expect all guest to keep to respectful behavior. It is not well seen, to be loud at night, especially not in the stair hall or on the balcony. Other than that, my neighbours are nice and tolerante. My hole apartement can be used from all guest, including fully equiped kitchen and I expect to find it in the same condition as before upon return. Smoking is not allowed inside my apartment, but you can smoke on the balcony. Arriving dates and check out has to be agreed on with me in advance, but I am quite flexible and can normally arrange for most cases.

Great location, walking distance to train with quick access to the center. Nice bakery at the corner of the street for a good way to start the day! Also nearby convenience store for grocery needs. We didn't really explore the neighbourhood for restaurants, but there are plenty of options nearby. The place was clean, well heated, with all basic for the kitchen if you want to cook. Communication with Hendrik was easy and everything was clear for the check in instructions. Overall good experience with some points we highlighted back to the host for simple improvements and enhanced experience for the future guests. I would recommend trying Hendrik's place, which is really worth it.

Lovely place to stay for a short break in Hamburg. This third-floor flat is in a really pretty and fairly quiet neighbourhood but there are plenty of lovely cafes and shops, as well as a few bars a short walk away. Highly recommend the bakery on the corner of the street! The flat is around 5 mins walk from the nearest U-Bahn station to take you into town. It was really easy to get around the city. The apartment itself is bright and spacious and was very clean. I would recommend for a couple rather than 3-4 as the second bedroom has an air mattress only. This was okay for us but could be an issue for some. Host Hendrik was very helpful and responded quickly to all my queries, no matter how small! Thanks for a lovely stay!
