  • 2nd time staying at Eric's home. Eric was as hospitable as always. We brought our two pups with us. Plan on staying here again in April.

  • Eric was a fantastic host. He was very helpful in answering questions before I booked and made it simple.
His home is inviting and very comfortable.
Although we could have just hung out downstairs we spent part of the evening talking with Eric, which was very enjoyable conversation, around the fireplace with the smooth jazz playing in the background.

  • Our visit to the SLC area was made comfortable, easy, and more enjoyable by our host, Eric. I came with my oldest daughter and her three-year-old and nine-month-old daughters. We made the trip to see my younger daughter and her family, who had recently transferred to Utah. And presented us with a brand new baby boy!
The two bedrooms, large private bath, huge family room with kid friendly carpet, and laundry room on our level was exactly what we needed for a week long stay.
We had the full use of Eric's kitchen and all the love we wanted from his great dog, Rudy. Our three-year-old actually asked if we were going back to "Rudy's house" when we returned from each excursion.
Eric, also, steered us away from wrong starts on the excursions and gave us the perfect "kid friendly" ideas for our limited time.
All in all, I must say that I hope Eric has room for us when we visit my daughter again.

  • We had a great overnighter at Eric's home. He left us to our own devices but was available when we needed him. Thanks Eric for putting out the cereal so we had something for breakfast - it was much appreciated.

  • I was in Utah to visit friends and found Eric's listing. The place was/is great. He has a wonderful home. I had the entire basement to myself. One evening we had a several hour chat as one of his friends came. I definitely recommend this place to anyone. You won't be disappointed.

  • Eric was a wonderful host - we arrived fairly late in the evening, but he was great about accommodating us. His pool was lovely as was the shower in the guest bedroom (you pretty much have an entire floor to yourself, it's a wonderful set-up). He also made us coffee in the morning, which was a nice surprise!

  • Just needed a place to stay for 2 nights. Eric was a very gracious host and welcomed me into his home. A nice alternative to a hotel/motel. Thanks Eric!

  • Our stay with Eric was our first airbnb experience, and we are totally sold. Eric's place is amazing. Where else can you get two bedrooms, a bath, a den with fireplace, private pool and jacuzzi with full kitchen access for such a low price? We stayed with Eric & Rudy while on our cross country move from Colorado to California. He accommodated our moving truck, 2 guinea pigs and 4 year old daughter without any problems. His house is wonderful for either socializing (Eric & Rudy are both awesome company), or for quiet privacy in the basement. He took good care of us, and we are happy to have experienced his hospitality and friendship. If you stay here, you must ask him to show you Rudy's fire trick. It's hilarious!

  • Eric is very nice and he has a great house and a really sweet dog. My only problem was the stairs, but that was my stupidity for picking a place where the rental area was in the basement. It's not like I could expect an elevator! Very quiet and very comfy. Lots of privacy if you want it. In a nice part of town with easy access to stores, movies, restaurants, etc.

    April 2013
  • It was a great location with easy access to Sundance Resort. Our host was fantastic and made sure we were well taken care of. We would certainly stay again.

Hello and thanks for your interest in what I have to offer for your stay here in Orem. I'm a 53 year old single male. With the exception of my friendly, mellow and respectful 12 year old Jack Russell Terrier (Rudy) I live solo. My home state is California...specifically northern Cal. I have many friends world wide who have stayed here to attend the Sundance Film Festival, enjoy winter sports, conduct business or simply get away to the Utah mountain country. Hosting my friends and family is among my favorite activities and is a natural fit for me. I take pride in creating a comfortable, inviting and trusting atmosphere. Whether you choose to stay at my home or another AirBnB host, please feel free to contact me with any questions regarding your Utah visit...I'm happy to help. Best wishes to you in your travels! Eric
