Interaction with Guests
It depends on my schedule
There's a nice bakery on the corner and its a short distance to downtown. Parking is available in front of the fence, just make sure you pull off the road all the way onto the gravel.
The bus stop is four houses away, however it stops running at 8:15 pm.
Other Things to Note
I have a mother in law unit in the back. They have their own kitchen, but share the bathroom. I rarely see them. I also have 2 cats and 2 chickens.
I hope guests feel comfortable. I tend to go to bed early, but there's no need to be quiet.
We just moved here from NYC, and needed a place to stay for a few weeks while we searched for a rental house. Lynn was very hospitable and welcoming, gave us tons of recommendations and helped us settle into Olympia. The room was cozy with plenty of storage for our longer stay, and the rest of the house was just beautiful. I would highly recommend staying here. Thanks again Lynn!
We immensely enjoyed our stay in Olympia at Lynn's! The space was exactly as described. The bed was so comfortable and Lynn even provided us with a new bar of soap (which was great because we forgot our's.) The neighborhood was peaceful and beautiful, and a bus stop is super close to the house. Lynn was easily accessible for questions and provided coffee, eggs from her chickens, and excellent conversation when we wanted it. She was incredibly accommodating and welcoming. Her sweet cats and gorgeous backyard were added bonuses for us. We would definitely stay here again!
Lynn greeted me warmly. She shared information about local places of interest. Her home is cozy and comfortable. Walked each morning, about 3-4 blocks, to a local bakery that makes amazing products. Enjoyed the beauty of the flowers and quietness in the neighborhood. Lynn is a gracious and kind hostess. Will definitly return when back in Olympia.
Lynn is a friendly and gracious host with excellent communication skills. She replied very quickly to my request to stay there, within 5 hours! The house is beautiful, and I really enjoyed meeting her cats and chickens. The house was easy to find and in a quiet neighborhood, near a delicious bakery.
Lynn is the most welcoming and accommodating host, and her place made us feel right at home. We love the way the cottage is furnished and the feeling of ease and beauty. We also very much appreciated the quiet at night and the beautiful garden and walking possibilities very close. We were here for a week and left feeling like friends. Thank you, Lynn, for the time at your home.

Lynne was very hospitalable and friendly, loved the house, had a great artsy, olympia vibe. I was so happy to be around the corner from a great bakery and so relatively close to downtown. Lynne gave great advice for someone considering moving to Olympia. The room was very nice with full made up bed and provided linens. Even though was such a short visit,it was great to be able to stay at someplace so homey.

About the Host, Lynn
I'm a self employed designer. I'm social, but prefer to spend many quiet hours every day in pursuit of the best solution to my clients needs and dreams.
I'm concerned about how to live on this planet responsibly and try to use our resources to the best of their abilities.
When I travel I prefer to sleep cheep and eat well. I'll easily camp in late winter in order to eat a fine halibut dinner at a nice restaurant in town. I eat a lot of regional and seasonable vegetables.
I consider myself reasonably well read and well filmed and have broad tastes in all genres, except horror films and car chases.
