  • Welcome to the farm! We hope you feel right at home.
  • A view of the Big House, which features nearly 7000 square feet of aquaponic deep water culture (DWC) beds.
  • Farmhouse kitchen where you'll enjoy a full breakfast. Feast on heritage bacon, fresh chicken or duck eggs, Belgian waffles, and (of course) plenty of coffee!
  • We make our quiche with farm-fresh vegetables and fresh farm eggs.
  • Fresh homemade biscuits with jam made from plums from our trees.
  • Juicy plums, destined for the jam pot.
  • We have hundreds of DVDs and Blue-ray discs, plus Netflix, Amazon Prime, HBO, and more for the inner couch potato in all of us.
  • The peaceful dining room adjacent to the butler's pantry and kitchen. Relax here with a cup of coffee and breakfast, or a cool drink after exploring the woods.
  • Your bed awaits! A queen-sized, deep foam mattress sits atop an adjustable, massaging bed frame.
  • Clean and neat en-suite with plenty of space to freshen up.
  • En-suite shower tub with rainwater shower head. A basket of shower essentials (and a few luxuries) is nearby.
  • This is Murray, one of the Odd Couple ganders. (Felix and Oscar are in the background.) He's such a show-off!

He also likes to sit in your lap and have his neck stroked.
  • This is Ghost. He was in the wrong place. Five hours of chasing him down and now he is back where he belongs!
  • A few of "Team Two," featuring Dandelion the Silver Appleyard and Randy the Cayuga. (We call them the Randy and Dandy boys.)
  • This is Phyllis. She's all grown up now, but she still wears her fancy hat.
  • One of three, this is Fozzie cat, stretching out before a relaxing late night of feline prowling. He loves to sit in laps.
  • Loads and loads of fresh duck eggs!
  • A view of the rocket mass heater that keeps our commercial greenhouse water warm in winter.
  • Beautiful, golden autumn at the farm.
  • Aquaponic wicking greenhouses where we trial varieties for our chefs and grow fresh food for the farmhouse.
  • Even the smallest things can be beautiful at the farm.
  • Texas bluebonnets, y'all.
  • Where all the cool chicks come to play at night! Our beautiful hen-lets aren't quite laying age, but soon they'll offer up bright blue and brown eggs for the best farm omelets around!
  • Our heritage breed ducks lay eggs of all colors, from vanilla to dark gray to black. Crazy!
  • A few images of our favorite things.
