All great, Serena is lovely and very helpful! The flat is amazing, nice, clean and great location! I strongly recommend!
Next to shops and everything. 5 star!
This flat is in a great location very close to San Marco square. It was very clean and comfortable. Melania the lady that came to meet us to give us the keys was very friendly and took us through everything we needed to know about the flat. There was one night that our power went off and we had to try and find the switchboard downstairs but the owners gave us a quick reply on how to get it turned back on. We highly recommend this to a family or a group of friends. We were 6 young adults and we found it was big enough for us as long as you don't mind bunkbeds :) The flat was really nice and quiet no noise from the street. There is also a gelato shop right outside the front door!
My family and I arrived in Venice at the Rialto boat stop and we met Serena who took us to the apartment. There was a slight problem with the Esmeralda apartment and the door wasn't able to be opened, we wound up taking a boat ride to another apartment that was closer to the Rialto bridge with more space. Although there was a slight hiccup with the Esmeralda Apartment we were transferred to a beautiful apartment in Castello without any problems. Overall it was a great experience.
Great location, great apartment, host was late to meet us but no a major problem. I got charged for late arrival but when the host was late i could not charge them. A little unfair.
We were 4 adults, 2 children and a baby staying in the apartment. The apartment, with its two bedrooms and two bathrooms was big enough for all of us. We liked not only the apartment, which was clean and had enough towels and bed linens, but also the location, close to a vaporetto station, San Marco and Rialto. This enabled us to go to the apartment at lunch time for lunch or for a quick break. Unfortunately, there weren't too many kitchen utensils. Apart from that, we weren't able to make the TV work (it might have been broken) and there were ants in the apartment!!
All in all, we would recomend the apartment to someone staying in Venice and would come back.
Nice apartment. Walking distance to Piazza San Marco.
Great apartment is good location. We prefer to not be right in amongst the tourist traps so San Marco Red Loft was a great option for us but still only 5-10mins walk to San Marco Square and 5 mins from Rialto Vaporetto. We were meet as planned mid-evening and taken to the apartment and walked through every thing as promised by AirBnB. Apartment was very clean, fully equipped, pretty quiet and served our needs very well. If ever back in Venice would definitely consider booking the apartment again
Perfect apparent I. Great location.
Our initial start was a bit bumpy, but overall, we loved our stay here.
Once our booking was confirmed, I had to send a message to a general email to confirm meeting point etc and was advised the name of the person collecting. When I sent an email to this person, I received one back saying that person was no longer with them, but another lady would be collecting us and her mobile number.
15mins after our meeting time, I rang the mobile but just as I did, a woman arrived (who wasn't the woman who was supposed to be and I hadn't been told of this change!) to take us. Gloria was very informative and showed us things along the way to our apartment including a local supermarket.
When we walked into the apartment, we were a bit shocked to see the main bedroom had an unmade bed and the bathroom had used towels all over the floor. Gloria was on the phone straight away and advised a cleaner would be back in half an hour but would have her own key so we went for a walk. When we returned nearly two hours later, it still had't been cleaned. I called the emergency number provided us but this rang out so we called Gloria and who followed it up and said they would be there in half an hour. After 45mins, we were getting a bit concerned that we wouldn't have a clean bed to sleep in as it was getting quite late, but eventually, the cleaner arrived and we had a fresh apartment again.
One thing that could do with a change is the mattress in the main bedroom. If you sat on the edge of the bed, you would almost sink to the floor. Given it is Italy, some wine glasses would also be nice!
In terms of the apartment, it was in a fantastic location, looked exactly as it did in the photos and provided everything we needed for a group with two teenagers. Gloria was also fabulous in her assistance to us, so we can't thank her enough. Would definitely stay here again.
