Sunsets are glorious here. The Aerie is a special spot just for 1 or 2, so leave the posse behind. Registered guests only.
The space
The Aerie is perched on a hillside where you can watch hawks soaring at your feet as you enjoy a post hot tub morning espresso. This is a well-designed tiny cabin with a modern bathroom, an efficient, but well appointed induction kitchenette, a firm, comfortable queen sized Room & Board luxury sofa bed with organic cotton linens. A tiered, outdoor view deck with a small, private 2 person hot tub and gas BBQ substantially expand the living space.
The 4K Roku TV and fast internet enable you to connect with the outside world even though you feel removed from urban life and are surrounded by nature. The north entrance of Lake Chabot with its beautiful redwood grove and access to 100s of miles of trails is less than a mile away. 10 minutes from OAK airport, this is a high end glamping experience that gives you the adventure of camping without having to leave town or mess with a tent..
Relax, retreat, and take in expansive city lights and bay views from the quiet of the hills. Enjoy the convenience of being closer to San Francisco than San Francisco! BART reliably gets you to SF in 20 min.

MINIMUM AGE
The Aerie is available for rental by those 25 yrs of age and older.
EVENTS
Events are expressly not allowed in the Aerie. Only the maximum two guests listed on the reservation are permitted on premises. No exceptions.
NOISE AND PARTIES
This is a quiet neighborhood. Though a private space, others live nearby on this one acre property, and will hear music and loud sounds/voices. Between the hours of midnight to 6AM, decibel levels shall not exceed 60 for extended periods of time.
DECORATIONS:
Absolutely no glitter, loose sequins, fake flower petals, or balloons are permitted. Nothing taped to the walls or windows. All decorations must be removed completely by checkout.
STRONG SCENTS
To help keep the cabin welcoming to all, avoid using excessive perfume/cologne inside the Aerie. It is a small space and strong scents are difficult to remove from upholstery and linens. Excessive perfume can linger for months through multiple washings.
SMOKING IS NOT ALLOWED ANYWHERE ON THE PREMISES.

This land was and continues to be of great importance to the Muwekma Ohlone Tribe and other familial descendants of the Verona Band.

• No outside visitors are allowed beyond the gate.

HOT TUB
Please note: This is a 2 person tub designed to accommodate a total additional weight of 350 lbs. A combined weight over 350 lbs displaces too much water for the tub to heat and function properly and risks damage to the pump/heater.
• Shower before entering to keep it clean.
• Swimsuits required at all times.
• Maximum 2 people in the tub.
• No glass, food, or drinks near the tub.
• No children under 5.
• Do not use if you have illness, rashes, or other communicable conditions.
• Do not use under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
• Limit use to 15 minutes to avoid overheating.
• Pregnant/elderly guests or those on medication should consult a physician.
• Quiet hours begin at 11 PM — sound carries easily to neighbors.
• No sexual activity in or around the hot tub. Even if neighbors can’t see you, they can hear activity on the deck.
• Respect neighbors, host, and main house guests. Violation may result in removal without refund.
• Do not adjust temperature or attempt to turn off tub. The tub is efficient at 100–104°F
• Always replace the cover after use.
MISUSE:
• $100 if left uncovered, dirty, cold, or damaged (e.g., food, dyes, oils).
• $500+ cleanup fee for severe contamination (vomit, feces, etc.).
