I'm renting out my lovely 1 bedroom apartment in Chinatown.
Newly renovated, spacious and clean, the airy apartment gets plenty of natural light.
The apartment is peaceful, modern and minimal with brand new hardwood floors, brand new kitchen. The separate bedroom is cozy and private. The living room has 2 couches, a fold out table, a free standing closet where you could hang your clothes. The kitchen has all the amenities you need!
Minutes away from Canal street Chinatown, it is a quiet oasis from the bustling streets of downtown Manhattan.
There are many cheap delicious local Chinese restaurants, and wonderful massage spots nearby, along with low key bars.
It is in walking distance to Soho, Nolita, Lower East Side-- but without the tourist trap!
6 minute walk to Canal Street stop (J,N, Q, 6), 8 minute walk to East Broadway stop (F).
My place is recommended for young individuals and couples excited to explore the city while also having a peaceful relaxing place to stay. Please note the apartment is on a 6 floor walk up (which I found from experience that you could get used to after a week).
Full kitchen with utensils, bathroom with a tub and some shower products, towels, clean sheets, a desk and chair, a small couch, an freestanding closet, some art on the wall. Wifi, AC. Laundromat on the first floor of the building.
I am available on the phone and could answer any questions.
There are many delicious restaurants nearby, Chinese and non-Chinese food. The area has many up and coming galleries as well. The neighborhood is really blossoming with lots of young creatives in art, fashion, publishing, music. Walk around East Broadway and Canal on any day and you will come across many interesting NYC artists, fashionistas, musicians along with Chinese families from babies to grandmas.
Restaurants I recommend:
Dimes ((website hidden)) - fresh local food. Fusion. Very chic environment and serves great brunch, lunch, dinner.
For good coffee:
Cafe Grumpy - 13 Essex St
Great organic tea shop run by the sweetest lady:
Sun's Organic Tea Shop - 79 Bayard St
Dim sum with an uptown feel:
Dimsum A Go GO - 5 E Broadway
Ice Cream with infinite flavors:
The Original Chinese Ice Cream Factory - 65 Bayard St
Canal 47 - 47 Canal st 2F. Showing the most exciting talents of NYC.
It is in walking distance to the F, 6, N, Q trains.
I like to chill at Seward Park. It's a great place for people watching - kids to retired folks.

My husband and I stayed in Yuko's Chinatown apartment for 10 weeks. Overall, it was a great experience and it was just what we needed during that time. When we first moved in, however, it was not clean, but we told Yuko and she got a cleaning lady in the very next day who had the place squeaky clean.
Things we loved or liked about living there:
- Chinatown location. It was such thrilling part of town to experience living in.
- So many great restaurants nearby. We loved Cha Cha Tang, Tasty Hand-pulled Noodles, Joes Shanghai, X'ian Famous Foods, to name a few, all a super short walk away..
- The bed was comfortable, which is very important! (We did buy our own pillows though, as we were staying there for so long).
Things we did not love about it:
- The 6 floor walk-up never gets easier! But at least you feel like your doing something good for your body with all those stairs.
- Stairway is pretty dingy and sometimes there was a man who smoked in the hall and the smoke would creep under our door, which was annoying.
Like I said, overall it was a very good experience and we will look back on it with fond and funny memories.
What a great location. If your looking for a cultural experience in New York this apartment is great. Right in the heart of Chinatown, a hop from Little Italy, walk through East Village for the best food, hip it up in Greenwich Village. Entrances to the NYC subway are all very close to get you uptown and across to Brooklyn.
The apartment is comfortable and quiet. You do get a workout as you have to climb quite a few stairs but its ok because your burning off all the delicious New York food.
Yuko is always on hand should you need anything or have any troubles. She was very helpful and quick to respond back to me.
I had an absolutely wonderful stay of 6 months in Yuko's apartment in the heart of Chinatown. The apartment was clean and fresh and very well maintained to a high standard. Having a major room plus a smaller bedroom (that I used as a working space instead, sleeping in the main room) felt amazing for Manhattan. And Chinatown is a real gem, even as an outsider I could appreciate the feel of community (and safety) in the house, street and neighborhood. Yuko was very easy to deal with and everything worked perfectly smoothly. Recommended!
Yuko and her apartment were amazing! From the start Yuko was very easy to communicate with and understanding when there was a hiccup with the deposit being approved. I did not have a phone when I first arrived in ny, but we were able to communicate via email very promptly! She also waited up for my plane to arrive, late, which I really appreciated!!
The apartment was great. Very very clean and modern. It was spacious - with a bedroom off from the main room and a cute bathroom with a bath! The neighbor hood was quiet and I felt very safe wandering around Chinatown, les, soho, noho,Nolita by myself. I did not have any problems during my stay, I even got fitter by going up and down the stairs every day. If you have a large suitcase make sure you have someone to help you carry it up to your apartment though.
Would definitely stay here again and recommend to all my friends!
We appreciated Yuko's flexible check in and check out times. The apartment had been cleaned before we arrived and was just as it appeared in pictures. One thing that wasn't pictured was the many beautiful, meditative objects that Yuko has placed around the apartment. Yuko was also responsive to our enquiries and issues after we arrived. She was a great host.
Yuko was super helpful with great communication and made everything very easy! Would definitely rent from her again.
Great place in a good location. Bed was comfortable and the place was very clean and tidy. Yuko was really responsive to emails/phone calls and very accomodating given some unusual circumstances related to Hurricane Sandy. I would recommend her place whole-heartedly.
Staying in Yuko's apartment was great! Convenient location, and a nice place to come home to after a long day. We felt safe and never had any concerns while staying here. She was very easy to contact and always available if we had any questions.
Yuko is very friendly, and well disposed to what you need. The apartment is as it looks in the photos, is clean and bright, perfect for two young people.
P.S.: The shower is great!!!
Great location. Ok apartment.
