I live in scenic Klamath Falls located in Southern Oregon. The perfect centrally located place to recharge in between the many adventures available! My home is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath, 1700 square foot home, with a view of gorgeous Mt. Shasta from my front deck and a wonderful mountain behind me to hike on.
This is the perfect place to stop and rest if you are traveling through Klamath Falls, but it is also the perfect alternative to a motel for Business people, or for Locum Tenums that need a temporary place to stay while working here. It's a very quiet and peaceful place to be. Children grown and gone. It's like having the house to yourselves.
Besides the hiking opportunities, I do have a treadmill in my "back room" available for your use.
I'm renting 2 bedrooms that each have a queen size bed, and use of a private bathroom, washer and dryer, and shared kitchen & living room, in my quiet and peaceful home. There is a large TV in living room with HD cable and smaller TVs in the bedrooms.
The bedrooms would comfortably sleep 4 people altogether.
I also have a Delux Pillowtop Queen size airbed that would fit next to one of the other queen beds in a bedroom if needed, therefore possibly sleeping 6 in the bedrooms.
I do have a huge leather sectional in my living room, that is very comfortable and could possibly sleep 2 more people on it. (1 on each end) so that is why I posted accomodates 8, but keep in mind the last 2 would be sleeping in living room and sharing 1 bathroom. There's always floor space for sleeping bags too. (Remember you also have the option to rent my other listing which is this same location, only you get the entire house including master bedroom, and I leave:)
I only rent to one "party" at a time, whether you only use 1 bedroom or 2, so you will always have your own private bathroom.
People come from all over the world to take pictures of our unique collection of birds on and around Klamath Lake (10 minutes from my home) and Tulelake Wildlife Refuge.
I am only an hour away from world famous Crater Lake.
The Oregon Shakespearean Theator (known all over the world) is an hour's drive away, as is the world famous National Lava Beds with it's mysterious underground caves/caverns to explore.
The area is well known for it's hiking, fishing, hunting, sailing, and much more.
Wonderful photography opportunities!
My home is 3 miles from "downtown" and 6 miles from Sky Lakes Medical Center (our hospital) and OIT (Oregon Institute of Technology).
The Steens Sports Park is only about 1 mile away from me, too.
I will include snacks, and full use of my kitchen to make whatever you want, and I will provide light continental breakfast as well. Just let me know what your preferences are, such as types/brands/flavors of yogurt/bagels/fruit/cereal, and I will cater to your specific needs and likes. I go to bed early, and then get up early for work, so basically it is truly as if you are renting an entire house all to yourself.
I do not have any pets due to allergies.
I'm looking forward to meeting you!
And PLEASE follow my driving instructions for getting to my home, because, everytime someone has used their GPS, for some odd reason, it takes them on the longest routes possible! My directions are the shortest to my house. And when arriving, please park up along the right side of my house up on the flat drive.

Like No Place Else On Earth
Crater Lake has inspired people for thousands of years. No place else on earth combines a deep, pure lake, so blue in color; sheer surrounding cliffs, almost two thousand feet high; two picturesque islands; and a violent volcanic past. It is a place of immeasurable beauty, and an outstanding outdoor laboratory and classroom.
Welcome to Lava Beds
Lava Beds National Monument is a land of turmoil, both geological and historical. Over the last half-million years, volcanic eruptions on the Medicine Lake shield volcano have created a rugged landscape dotted with diverse volcanic features. More than 700 caves, Native American rock art sites, historic battlefields and campsites, and a high desert wilderness experience await you!
******NOTE! IF YOU NEED MORE SPACE AND WANT TO ALSO HAVE USE OF MY MASTER BEDROOM, in which case I would then move out during this stay, you must go to my "OTHER LISTING" titled "PRIVATE HOME GETAWAY W/GREAT VIEW" and book that instead. (cost is higher)*****

Teri is so welcoming and her house is so nice! We were not able to spend a lot of time with her but everything was done so we feel like at home. Thank you again Teri!
Teri was the perfect hostess. She had any breakfast food we suggested to her prior to our visit. Her home is comfortable with all the amenities we needed. The neighborhood is set in the foothills, close to town but with a backdrop where deer came near her backyard. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt very much at home. Teri is with you while you are there. She allows you your privacy but will also engage with you if you want to hang out with her.
I recommend her home to anyone who wants a home-style stay.
We absolutely LOVED our stay with Teri. She was a gracious host, opening up her home to us. We definitely felt like we were invited guests with little touches like chocolates and water next to the bed. Teri also had a HUGE fruit salad and fresh muffins for us to enjoy in the morning and we welcomed the chance to make oatmeal before we trekked out. Her home is quiet and clean with comfy beds. Teri also gave us a lot of privacy. When we return, we will welcome the chance to stay here. There is just so much to do in the area, we need to return. :)
Staying at Teri's place was one of the highlights of our intended visit to Crater lake.
Teri showed us around the house as soon as we arrived and made us feel very welcome. The kitchen was stocked with all the things one would need for a nice wholesome breakfast. She had kept us fresh muffins that we thoroughly enjoyed. We used her kitchen and living room extensively during our stay. Teri hardly ever interfered or disturbed us while we were there. That gave us a whole sense of privacy, which we appreciated a lot.
Would definitely stay at her place again if we stop by Klamath.
We had a wonderful stay at Teri's house! The place is so quiet and Teri is so nice you'll really feel at home with everything you need ( really everything!) and she' will do everything is possible to do a service and make you feel good.
You will really know what "be a guest" means!
Klamath is also a good place, for outdoors activities such as hiking, fishing, boating, bird watching, beautiful landscapes.
Thank you Teri for everything!!
Teri was a wonderful hostess. She was there to greet us when we arrived at her beautiful home and she was so friendly and welcoming.
Her home is very clean and spacious and has such a warm and comfortable atmosphere. Teri is incredibly considerate, having stocked the kitchen with all sorts of lovely breakfast goodies and snacks for us and encouraging us to make ourselves at home. I highly recommend staying with her if you are ever in the area.
This is not a house. This is a home. We drove from Stanford and were running late, while Teri was waiting for us so patiently. As soon as we stepped into Teri's home, we found it just as awesome as its rating on the airbnb website, even much better! All the details reflected her profession and delicacy in this beautiful furnished house: the sweet chocolate and cute bears on the fluffy pillows, the carved mantels, the elegant fish pattern on the shower curtain, the magazines in the bathroom, the family albums, the finely tuned piano… which all gave us a homey feeling. What was surprising was that Teri had already prepared the refrigerator full of fresh fruits, milk, yogurt, pastries, bagels, cereals, coffee and tea for us. (I really love the almond croissant!!) The beautiful mountain side where the house is located is so peaceful and quiet, only one hour and a half drive from Crater Lake. I slept very well on the soft and heated bed. I think very highly of the clean and tidy room, particularly the bath room equipped with many clean and soft bath towel. Teri is such a lovely, gracious, hospitable and heart-warming hostess. But to our great pity, because our tight schedule, we don't have much time to sit down on the soft sofa leisurely, have a nice chat and share our stories with Teri this time. My friends and I really wish that we could stay here longer if we have more time! The wonderful experience make it great value than traditional hotels. I will definitely come back here if I have a chance to visit Southern Oregon next time. We highly recommend this BnB to everyone. Thank you Teri!
Botao, I am speechless! You are so very kind! You all so very sweet, kind! You were all very respectful of my home too! I, too, would haved to have time to sit and hear all your stories! Your other friends arrived last night for 2 days, so I hope they enjoy their stay as much as you did! You are all welcome back anytime!!!!
Teri is by far the best host ever! If we were able to stay with her forever, we would! My husband and I arrived at 1:30 in the morning and Teri left the front door open for us with welcome and instruction notes everywhere in the house. We felt not only at home but also live in a safe community.
Once we woke up from our 20+ hours of jet lag, we were greeted with fresh fruits, organic salads and snacks just to name a few. Soon after, Teri left another detail note to helped us get settled and offered a plethora of options to make our stay in Klamath Falls, Oregon memorable. We got to share stories in our last night and we slept so comfortably these few days. We felt so welcomed and rejuvenated in this home. I highly recommend it to anyone. I am blessed to have met this beautiful abundance soul and stay with Teri.
Teri made us feel so welcome--we came in late at night and she had turned the electric blanket on, and we awoke to the smell of coffee in the morning. We had a wonderful stay in her lovely, comfortable home. Thank you Teri!
