Beautifully converted agricultural barn set deep in the heart of the Cairngorm National Park.
Nestled at the foot of Craigowrie mountain the barn has stunning views of the Cairngorms and Spey valley. Amazing walks straight out of the front door and up into the hills. A perfect get away for romantic weekends or nature lovers!

The space
The barn is a split mezzanine, open-plan space that is has fantastic natural light throughout the day. With high ceilings and styled minimally with good furniture, it is a peaceful and contemplative space to relax in away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

There is a cosy seating area with an upright piano. The kitchen has a concrete worktop and is fully equipped with the essentials.

The bathroom has a beautiful deep cast iron bath tub with brass taps. There is also a spacious shower and Japanese style toilet bidet.

With a double bed on the mezzanine, the barn is deal for one or two people. It can also accommodate a third person on the day bed in the main space but bear in mind there is no dividing wall that separates the main space to the mezzanine bedroom.

There is use of a wood burner for colder evenings.

The front porch offers fantastic views out to the Cairngorms and is perfect place to sit and drink a morning coffee.

The barn sits next to an old farm house where my mother lives who keeps hens, sheep, donkeys and dogs. There is shared use of the driveway but the properties are separated by a gate.

Unfortunately due to our location there is no wifi in the area. We have great 4G signal so perfect if you have a dongle or can tether your phone to a laptop for internet use. There is no TV, but there is great sound system.

Your neighbours at the barn are a herd of grazing deer in the field opposite, sheep owls and the occasional badger. Head up onto the hill in front and you'll come acrossgrouse, hares and if youre lucky a polecat.

There are a few houses dotted about along the road near the barn, but will not notice them fir its a very quiet road.
