Where you’ll be

Sölden, Tirol, Austria

The Alpine ski World Cup premiere takes place every year in October at the Rettenbach Glacier in Sölden. There are 25,000 spectators and a large party in the village. Skiing is similar to March at the glacier. The summer in Sölden and Ötztal has a wide variety of fun activities such as hiking, mountain biking, rafting, canyoning, wakeboarding, Via Ferrata, tennis, swimming and climbing. There are a large selection of good restaurants both on the mountain and in the village. You can easily make excursions to other nearby villages and valleys or take a longer excursion down to Italy. (Only 20 minutes by car to the Italian border)
