About This Listing
Beautiful and quiet apartment in period house, right in the heart of the Prenzlauer Berg. Perfect for couples and people who are looking for an authentic and relaxing Berlin experience in one of Berlin's most popular neighborhoods.
The flat is located in the rear building of a typical "Berliner Altbau" built in 1910. It still has an old restored door, beautiful stucco, and high ceilings and windows. The windows look into a cozy little backyard with a tree whose leaves let the flat come to live in a beautiful green during the warmer months of the year.
The interior design is modern and inviting. We have a big, comfortable bed and cozy chairs that will help you relax after a long day of sightseeing in Berlin.
There is wireless internet connection that you can use with your own computer. (We have had to remove the laptop that you can still see in the pictures.)
The kitchen is fully equipped. It has a stove, a microwave (including grill function and fan), an electric kettle, coffee maker, a washing machine, pots, pans, silverware and dishes. There is also an iron that will come in handy when you want to get dressed up for an exciting night in Berlin clubs and fancy restaurants.
As our guest you will have the whole apartment to yourself. You won’t have to share it with anybody else. You may also use the courtyard to store your bicycle.

Prenzlauer Berg - the best place to live! Great and cozy apartment! we had a great time in Berlin. All recommendations given by hosts were very useful. Thank you!
Wohnung ist ruhig gelegen. Alles nett & umkompliziert. Schade, dass das weder Internet noch Computer lief.
The apartment is in reality more damaged than it looks in the pictures, we had problems to open the main door of the building so we stayed outside for loooong minutes (at night) before managing to open the door. We did NOT appreciate this inconvenient at all.
Another thing , the neighbor of the apartment smoke cigarettes in the corridor so there was a smell of smoke all the way in the building which is seriously very unpleasant.
The curtains are not "block out", you will see the light... if you need to sleep a little in the morning it's ruined.
Also, the flow of water in the shower is not done correctly, everything can overflow out quickly and cause "a pool" in the bathroom.
Both chairs are very dirty , which you cannot sit on.
Wifi is so-so, it did not work all the time which is essential when you visit a city.
Otherwise, the communication was good, the apartment is located in a very calm aera, the tramway is very close and it is well equipped (you will find everything you need in the kitchen, coffee...) but unfortunatly we cannot recommend this place. Sorry :/
Hi Quentin, I am sorry that you had problems with the keys, but I trust that you no longer had any trouble getting in once we explained to you what to pay attention to when turning the key.
Sorry, that some things like the drain and the chairs, weren't maintained to the standard that we usually maintain them to, but Alan has been very sick for several months now so that we are forced to rely on the services of a company for cleaning, maintenance and check ins. We have asked them to unblock the drains and we have bought some easy to wash throws for the chairs that I hope to be able to bring over to the apartment shortly, latest by the end of May.
I hope, that by June Alan will be well enough to look after our apartments by himself again.
Appartement agréable, confortable, calme et très bien placé dans un quartier vivant et sympathique.
Lovely place! Pictures are very accurate. The apartment was clean and well-equipped. We had a very peaceful and quite stay.
The location is very nice and calm, near to the train station and very close to supermarket and restaurants.
Alan & Kasia weren't able to welcome us so a friend of them took care of us. Otherwise, they were very available and sent us every useful information via email before our trip. I would recommend this spot to anyone wanting to explore the city.
We had a good time at Kasia's apartment.
First off, the apartment is quite functional - it has everything one might need. The detailed information on local bars, restaurants and things to do was great. We arrived quite late, but that was not an issue as we had someone waiting to check us in.
We would recommend Kasia to anyone who wants to stay in the Prenzlauer Berg area and is looking for guidance on what to do.
