Beautifully restored big red-brick bungalow takes you back in time when men and women kept watch over the Ohio River’s Lock and Dam 51. The Golconda Lockmaster Homes are perfect for riverside relaxation or a homebase to take in the natural wonders and adventures waiting for you in southern Illinois. Houses can accommodate couples or large groups and overlook the scenic Ohio River.

The space
This spacious, beautifully restored three bedroom homes feature period furnishings from the 20th century and can easily accommodate 8 people. The large Master bedroom features a king-sized bed. Bedroom #2 features a queen-sized bed. Bedroom #3 is equipped with two, twin-sized beds. There is also a pull-out couch in the living room. All items needed to prepare and eat your meal in comfort are provided in the home's fully equipped kitchen. Cable TV is also provided to watch but who needs it when you have the beautiful, relaxing view of the scenic Ohio river from the expansive screened-in porch facing the river.
