The location of the house is excellent and the house is a good size. However, the house would perhaps benefit from some TLC and refreshing the decor. There are two bedrooms, with the third bed being in the living room. There is free parking all day Sunday and on Saturday after 4pm outside the house (and there is a car park in Summertown within walking distance). On our visit the garden was overgrown with weeds, three of the four bedside lights were not working, the house was not very well cleaned, and the shower head attachment was broken. There was no loo roll in the house. Hopefully these issues will be resolved for future visitors.

We had a very comfortable stay, there was plenty of room and everything necessary was provided. The house was tidy, spacious and in a great location. We enjoyed both nights in, cooking for ourselves and out and about at nearby restaurants. It was extremely quiet and was very easy to make arrangements and communicate with the owners. Overall a wonderful stay!

We stayed at this house while I was finishing my Master's courses at the University. The location is perfect, only a three-minutes walk to the bus station which takes you to City Center in less than eight minutes or so. If you decide to walk, there are many options all of them taking less than 25 minutes. (Try the canal!) Richard and John were lovely hosts. John responded to all of our questions and was very friendly and attentive. The house is lovely and well cared for. It has all of the basic amenities, including a dryer. There is a lot of space and the beds are good. The house is located in a residential street, next to a park (perfect for kids) and with a nearby restaurants and mini-markets. We will return next year, hopefully for another long stay, and would love to return to this house. Thank you guys. =)

We (2 + 1 adult son) had a great stay at Richard and John's home. It's a modernized (clean, well appointed, functional appliances, comfortable) row house in a quiet neighbourhood. It was convenient to get to and transit is a few minutes walk from the place. It is a two story home with full kitchen, full bathroom, two bedrooms, large living room (with extra bed) and laundry. A few steps down the block is a fresh organic deli/grocery store and a nice pub next to it. There is also a very nice river walk (takes you into town) and park within a block. Nearby are an assortment of other pubs, shops, restaurants and businesses within the Jericho neighbourhood. Local transit is 2 blocks and 4 blocks away. Richard was very quickly responsive to our messages and very helpful. We had no reason to contact him during our stay. We highly recommend staying with them. We would stay again on a future trip.

We stayed here for three nights at the end of June. We loved the location and the space. It accommodated four of us well. I would stay here again, but feel that the owners could make this an even better experience for their guests by devoting some attention to small amenities, things like hand soap in the bathroom, watebaskets in the bathroom and bedrooms, a few basics like salt and pepper in the kitchen, which otherwise is well equipped with dishes, pots and utensils. The lighting in the bathroom needs looking at as there are some bulbs that don't seem to work.

A great location only 2 kms from the city centre in a very quiet neighborhood. You can walk to the city by canal or river or road or catch a bus only a block away. The house sleeps up to 5 people. The property manager was extremely good in sorting out small issues as they arose. Disadvantages were only one toilet which was upstairs even though 1 bed was downstairs. No comforts: bare floor boards, hopeless pillows and no top sheets on the beds: no waste bins upstairs or fans:we were there for 10 days in a heatwave! No linen change. Definitely recommend if if you are not worried about these issues as it is spacious, basically clean and bright.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this home. The location was perfect for us -- a nice walk from the train upon arrival, walking distance to Summertown to the north, as well as downtown to the south. The home was clean and very comfortable. Highly recommended!!
