El Vaixell de paper (The Paper Boat) - representing something so fragile yet so strong!
See you soon your next holidays in Barcelona .
We had such a wonderful time staying with Xavier. The flat was beautiful and the location was ideal, we found the El Born area perfect for getting to all the main attractions, the beach and lots of great places to eat! Xavier was very friendly, welcoming and helpful with recommendations and information about the local area and events. We would definitely recommend anyone visiting Barcelona to stay here - real hidden gem!
Thank you for having us,
Charlie and Georgia

This (email hidden) to stay. The location in El Bornn is awesome -- right next door to Picasso Museum and very close to marvelous Santa Maria del Mar Church. The room is very comfortable send has a great roof garden that is just perfect for sipping a glass of wine and taking in the view. And the host is incredibly generous with providing tips and history. A great find! Kathy
Our stay at Xavier's home was really great! It's a nicely decorated and clean place, although you have to climb a few stairs to get there :) it's worth it!
Xavier's roof terrace is also a very nice place to escape from the busy streets of Barcelona and enjoy the sun and the view in the afternoon.
The location is perfect, next to the Picasso Museum in the neighborhood El Born, which we loved because of the many cosy narrow streets with shops, creative people, art and of course a lot of good restaurants & bars. We flew to Girona Airport and took the buss to Barcelona, from the buss stop it's 15 minutes walk to the B&B. At night, when you're eventually going to get some sleep, you'll sleep just fine, although you will still hear people talking outside (I think this neighborhood just never sleeps!) but if you close the window it'll be just fine. There's also air-condition in the bedroom, but we didn't have to use it. Fresh bread in the morning, cereal, yoghurt, orange juice, jam, coffee, tea. Breakfast was okay, although personally we are used to a bit more variety instead of only jam every morning. Perhaps a boiled egg and some cheese/ham. But of course you can step outside and the bakery is just around the corner for a fresh croissant!
Xavier's bathroom is spacious and clean. Sometimes the water is cold, but if you close the tap en open it again, usually the warm water arrives immediately.
It'(email hidden) to stay, good neighborhood. Communication with Xavier was good, we emailed and texted each other before our arrival. We also used free WiFi in the B&B. I would definitely recommend staying at Xavier's place while visiting beautiful Barcelona!
We has the most amazing 5 days in Barcelona.
Much Thanks to our wonderful host, Xavier and his apartment in a prime location of El Born.
We enjoyed waking up every morning to a table set with breakfast. Xavier was very helpful with local tips for us. One of the best quotes he share with us was: " just go out there and get lost in the alley's of El born." So True!!!
While I only stayed a short time at Xavier's place, I can say that it is really perfect. The room is spacious and very well appointed; it has a lovely balcony looking out onto Carrer Montcada, but the room is very quiet when the windows are closed. The location is also perfect--directly in the heart of El Born. Highly recommend Xavier as a host!
Such a beautiful home neighborhood and city! Couldn't (email hidden) to stay in Barcelona ! Can't wait to visit again!!
