Bag End is our newest offering at Buffalo Gap Retreat! A comfortably appointed tiny home on wheels awaits to serve as your access to all that Buffalo Gap Retreat has to offer.

Includes 2 loft beds (king & single) kitchenette, and en-suite private bathroom with shower.

Outside is a fire pit, picnic table, and charcoal grill.

The space
With many on-site amenities and things to do nearby, including kayaking & canoeing (provided), hiking, a wood fired sauna (small fee), beach, lake, volleyball, and corn hole, creeks, bon-fires, fire pits, charcoal grills and more, Buffalo Gap Retreat makes for a great mountain escape.

Bag End is on the upper hill, with great views of the Pavilion and surrounding wilderness. This comfortable tiny home is a great spot to explore all that Buffalo Gap has to offer.

Please Note: linens are not included. Please bring your own, or contact the office to inquire about renting a set for your stay for an additional fee.

There is firewood for sale at the office cottage and a coffee station on the office porch.

Our property includes a 3200 square foot lakeview dining hall with Wi-Fi access, and a weekend café available for food and beer/wine.

We also have a 1.2 acre lake with sandy beach, beach house, volleyball, kayaks and canoes, free for all to use. Fishing is catch and release. There is a wood-fired sauna which is bookable for a small fee.

A bookable (for fee) sauna is located at our lake. Contact office to book an appointment.

Further we have a 3800 square foot covered log-hewn pavilion as well access to a 10,000 square foot gym with basketball courts.

Guest access
• Front entrance gate is always open.
• Your cottage door has an electronic keypad lock. You will be sent the code to your cottage in advance of your arrival.

Other things to note
• On-site manager generally available (in-person, phone, or message) to handle any questions or needs.
• The sauna or laundry room may be booked for a fee, on a first-come-first-served basis, at the Office Cottage.
