Where you’ll be

Santo Domingo, Distrito Nacional, Dominican Republic

This house has been the studio of renowned Dominican artists such as the great Carlos Goico (+2009) and Ney Díaz (+2015). Its renovation respects the original structures in a functional marriage that includes contemporary colorfulness of Caribbean design. Located in historic downtown's artistic and cultural district, walk to many bars, restaurants, museums, and monuments of the capital's vibrant colonial area.

Santa Barbara is an area steeped in history. It was once a quarry neighborhood; stones were dug from its surroundings to build the monuments and colony's walls. Find the Santa Barbara Church, built in the 16th century over the first colonial cemetery, where our father, Juan Pablo Duarte, was baptized.
