Within our 400+ acre property with private 20-acre lake, The Library Loft is a unique, comfortable space located on the second level of our former, never used horse barn. A full selection of books ranging from gardening to history to suspense novels is housed in the loft, as well as a DVD library. The Loft offers a small living room with TV, queen-size bed, and full bathroom. Kitchen facilities are downstairs. Comfortable sitting area, bar, big screen TV lie just outside The Loft apartment.

The space
The Library Loft is a small and simply comfortable living space. Located on the second level of our remodeled horse barn, the Loft features wonderful views of the property from the barn’s wood decks. Below the decks is a large, multi-level flagstone patio. Inside the Loft is a small living room with sitting chairs and a library full of books and DVD’s, bedroom with queen-size bed, and full bathroom. A small counter with refrigerator and coffee maker are located directly outside the entrance to the Loft. In this same area just outside of the Library Loft is an inviting, comfortable seating area and a bar with large screen TV, allowing further expansion of the living area. The full kitchen is downstairs or for guests requiring a more comprehensive cooking experience, the Chef’s House is made available to all overnight guests and is a fully equipped kitchen with walk-in cooler.
For those who like to fish, the private lake is stocked with bass, brim and catfish and is a short walk from the Loft. The property is surrounded by woods with pastures, fields, and ponds. Guests can walk the many trails and gravel roads throughout the 400+ acres. Many forms of wildlife are present on the property. Caution should be observed by all, especially when walking trails and gravel roads. Children must be responsibly supervised at all times. We ask our guests not to enter fenced fields but view the cattle safely from outside the fence line.
