This cozy 2-story cabin sits on the south side of the property’s private 20-acre lake, stocked with bass, brim and catfish. Our guests can fish, walk gravel roads and trails over our 400+ acre property, or just relax by the lake, on the balconies, on the decks or under the trees. Private and comfortable, the Cabin is a great get-a-way!

The space
The Lakeview Cabin sits within the 400+ acres of Sandy Creek Event Center and is located on the south side of the property’s private 20-acre lake. This cozy, 2-story Cabin with lakeview balcony is enhanced by a picturesque garden surrounded by picket fencing with exquisite landscaping, wooden decks and a large, screened wooden gazebo. A stone fountain and brook allow water to cascade down from the cabin to the lake. The front porch overlooks the lake, while additional decks and stairs lead to the lake shore. Inside the cabin, you will find the kitchen on the main floor. For guests requiring a more comprehensive cooking experience, the Chef’s House is made available to all overnight guests and is a fully equipped kitchen with walk-in cooler. The second level of the Cabin is the living room/bedroom combo with a small balcony on the south side overlooking fields, and a large balcony on the north side overlooking the lake. The overly large sofa pulls out to a king bed with a very comfortable mattress.
For those who like to fish, the private lake is stocked with bass, brim and catfish. Hunting is also permitted on the property and is adjacent to undeveloped TVA land. The property is surrounded by woods with pastures, fields, and ponds. Guests can walk the many trails and gravel roads throughout the 400+ acres. Many forms of wildlife are present on the property. Caution should be observed by all, especially when walking trails and gravel roads. Children must be responsibly supervised at all times. We ask our guests not to enter fenced fields but view the cattle safely from outside the fence line.

While a stay at the Lakeview Cabin has much to offer our guests, some may wish to explore the surrounding area. Nine miles west is the city of Paris, where you can enjoy shopping and dining in the old town square or visit Eiffel Tower Park where you will find a replica of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France. Six miles southeast is the Paris Winery. Stroll through the vineyards and visit their wine tasting room! For beer enthusiasts, Perrylodgic Brewing Co. is located fifteen minutes away on the outskirts of Paris; tasting of these local beers is offered. Paris Landing State Park and Kentucky Lake are 17 miles to the north. The State Park offers a Par 72, 18-hole golf course and sits on the widest part of the lake, the perfect location for water sports such as fishing, boating, swimming, and waterskiing. Five miles east of the Cabin is the nearest boat launch access to Kentucky Lake via Big Sandy River. Antique lovers will enjoy numerous local shops and the short drive to Hazel, KY, which is famous for its antique stores. If you enjoy fishing during your stay, the east boundary of the property is directly adjacent to hundreds of acres of undeveloped TVA Public Recreation Lands.
