Great stay in London! The Fab Fulham Flat was everything as stated. Wayne kept in touch with offers of assistance. ..none needed as all went very smoothly. The flat was very convenient to both buses and the tube with lots of local shops at the end of the street. Cannot recommend this flat (and landlord )highly enough!!!
This flat is exactly as cute as the photos depict. Impeccably clean and well decorated. The kitchen is perfectly functional and bathroom is clean and nice. Wayne was prompt with his interactions and offered to stop by to meet us but we were on the go too much to schedule a visit. The nearby Fulham Broadway tube station is really cool and the surrounding neighborhood is active with street vendors as well as all the standard shops for groceries and pharmacy. Top Notch Flat for your London Getaway.
From day 1 Wayne was in contact and was timely in the provision of this advice. Unfortunately we were unable to met Wayne but he has a good system for late check in and keeps in contact.
The apartment is well positioned in Fulham and is a short walk to the Fulham Broadway Underground from where you can get to anywhere in London. There are also plenty of pubs, restaurants and supermarts close by.
The apartment is well setup and very comfortable. It is true to the pictures used to advertise it.
The flat is basically an IKEA showroom :) Very modern and clean and cozy - great use of space and has everything you could need in a pretty decent location. He left a fantastic binder full of information and check-in/out was easy. No complaints at all - just make sure you like the location because London is very big!
We had an awesome time at the Fulham Flat. It was a 7 minute walk to the closest tube, but we usually decided to walk 5 minutes further to be in zone 1 (cheaper!). The flat was well cared for and very clean. It had plenty of amenities (including a hair dryer!) and Wayne left a great book about some local shops and restaurants. We got to meet him the first night of our stay and he made some other recommendations. Go to Vagabond wines! I would highly recommend staying here!
Wayne was an exceptional host for his flat. The space is wonderful and his handbook is great. It has all the listing for things to do, restaurants, bars, etc. It is a great neighborhood as everything is nearby without traveling a long way. It is close to the tube. He was there to meet us and explained everything about the flat that we needed to know and then some. He kept in contact with us over the days we were there to make sure everything was good. We walked and walked over London and were always glad to get home to his flat.
About the Host, Wayne
I'm an Australian secondary school teacher, living and working in London for the past 12 or so years.
I bought my flat about 10 years ago and spent 6 years renovating and modernising it mostly myself (with the help of professional plumbers and electricians) to its current high standard.
I love to travel to out of the way places, in Europe, north Africa and the Middle East particularly, but enjoy both busy cultural trips as well as easy-going relaxing breaks.
I enjoy experiencing the local flavour of places, whether it be food, drink, local markets or simply whiling away the time in a local teahouse or cafe soaking up the atmosphere.
