"La Stanza 24" it's a recently refurbished and stilysh 25mq open space studio situated on the ground floor of an historic building from the first years of 900's.
As the palace where it's collocated it has maintained the details of the past age with a modern design's touch.
It can host 1 or 2 persons (single beds) and it's equipped with:
- a new modern bathroom (shower, wc, bidèt ecc.)
- cooking facilities ( microwave, small fridge, two fires, american caffè and everything you need for cooking)
- two single beds ( as you can see from the picture), a wardrobe and design objects
- flatscreen digital TV, free internet WI - FI
It's situated at the doors of the historic city center and Piazza Santa Croce, one of the most important square of the city, is at 8 minutes by foot. You can reach the hearth of Florence ( Piazza Duomo ) with a 15 minutes walk trough the old classic streets of the city (Borgo Albizi and Via del Corso).
The neighborhood is SAFE at every hours of the day and not fill up by tourist!
The main street at the corner ( Via Gioberti) offers more than 100 "botteghe", with restaurants, shop, market, bars, and galleries!
In Piazza Beccaria (100 mt from the room) you can find an electric bus that drives you directly into the city center and other busses to reach other places, included locations out of town.
I work in a shop in front of the room every day of the week ( except sunday ) so I'm at your disposition for any problem or to help you with your "florentine" life!

The near street Via Gioberti, where you can have a fantastic breakfast or cocktail,
or buy bread or fruit, the same in the Market Sant'Ambrogio, all morning, and in the night, famous restaurants Il Cibreo, Teatro del sale, Pizzeria Santarpia, o la Mattonaia. 10 minutes from the beautiful Square Santa Croce,
with its strategic position along the banks of the Arno river, since the 13th century had been historically the district where the industries that required great quantities of water were concentrated. The tanners of via delle Conce and via dei Conciatori, just a few steps from the garden entrance of the Monastery and Scuola del Cuoio, were an important part of the Santa Croce neighborhood with the dyers of Corso dei Tintori and even the soap makers of via dei Saponai. The tanned hides were used for centuries for the leather manufacturing of the city and at the Monastery itself to cover the great manuscripts. Post-war Scuola del Cuoio brought those traditions back to the Monastery.

Just in case there is a check in the day of your check out it's possible to leave the luggages to us if you need to stay more hours in the city.
The Florence City Council instituted an obligatory CITY TAX, starting April 1, 2015, for all stays by visitors who are non-residents of Florence for a maximum of 7 consecutive nights.
The tax amount is € 2,50 per person per night.
Children under 12 years old are exempt.
