Desiree was on her summer holidays when I came to stay so unfortunately, was not able to meet her personally. Regardless, she left me in very good hands! Her friend came to let me in and show me the apartment and give me the keys. Great location, great apartment with everything that you need. Would recommend!
Fantastic host. Made me very welcome from the second I got there. Arne, Desiree's second in command, greeted me and was extremely helpful about the local area from the supermarkets to where's best to go out. The room and pictures were exactly as described and I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. I especially loved the location as it was set right in the heart of Kreuzberg. I Would go back in a heartbeat. Sad to be home again. Many thanks for the wonderful stay and I hope to be back soon.
Desiree is very welcoming and her home is extremely comfortable. The location is as good as it gets for Kreuzberg. Definitely a highly recommended Airbnb.
I stayed 2 nights in Desirees' apartment. She was very kind, open and friendly. Everything was fine and well explained by her. I really enjoyed my stay in Berlin:)
Desiree was a wonderful host. She made us feel very welcome on arrival and gave very clear instructions of how to get there. She was very helpful and provided some good tips for museums etc. The flat was clean and the room was bright and spacious. The flat is very convenient in terms of public transport- most of Berlin is. There are LOTS of cafes, restaurants and bars close by. Have no complaints- would definitely stay here again.
Desiree was nice and her housemate was also lovely. The flat is in a great location as it's close to lots of bars, clubs, restaurants and generally has a lot going on in the area.

About the Host, Desiree
I am a self-employed consultant to (mainly) foreigners buying real estate in Berlin. My castle is your castle ;) - I often work from home but I am also out a lot. I am curious to meet new people and enjoy a good dinner with friends as well as a spontaneous open air party or a weekend out of town. I love music, cooking and food, museums and exhibition openings, clubbing, gigs and festivals. I like reading, movies, arts and culture. .
